I bought 2 tables for my wife, kids and friends for the SlipKid show. The passion and excitement that Gary gives is breathtaking, He is full time full throttle. He just goes for it without holding anything back. He’ll climb on a rail or hang from the ceiling while high-fiving people and figure out how to get down once he’s reached the top. The sound was spot on and his vocals were flawless. A normal human being would be out of breath just attempting to move like he does let alone singing. If you ever have the pleasure of meeting him he is pleasantly authentic and has no Rock Star attitude. God Bless Gary He is at the very top of his game and a world class entertainer. I’m looking forward to a Cherone/Bettencourt version of Van Halen.
Gary and the band delivered the Who experience perfectly! Such a great show, I'll go again to see them in a heartbeat. There was such a great vibe while we were hanging in the crowd with the groupies and roadies. Well done!
The Slip Kid concert was without question one of those extraordinarily endorphin and dopamine producing FUN nights! The quality of the show was superb in every way. The band was top notch, production and sound was professional and the song selections were everything you wanted to hear. Cherone is an amazing , exciting, energized, electric performer who sounds like Daltrey. He is long on charm and has that special something. It was like seeing The Who in the ‘70’s all over again! What a blast!!
Slipkid was fantastic. For those of you who are Who fans, it was a trip down memory lane. they started off with songs from the 60s. I cant Explain, I can see for miles, Pictures of lily, my generationfor starters. They then rolled into Were not going to take it and see me feel mefrom Tommy. then Baba O"Reilly, Bargian and Getting in Tune from Whos Next. After that, into 5;15 and then on to some newer songs like Emminence Front After that, on to the closing sons of and Wont get fooled again and then the encore of Love reign o'er me. For those of you that are too young to remeber the Who, it was music history. Cant wait to see them again Don't miss it
I saw The Who do the entire Tommy album back in the day and I caught Roger Daley and Pete Townsend a couple of years ago. Slipkid is a talented group of musicians that bring the music of The Who to life is true fashion. Outstanding performance. Don’t miss a chance to see this great performance.
Slipkid is a great show. Gary is incredible and puts on a exceptional performance.. All band members were equally brilliant. A must see for any Who fan and any music lover.
They were unbelievable! Gary was unbelievable and so was the band. His brother was great! The whole show was unbelievable. The place was beautiful also. We saw Gary Sharone about a month ago at the vault and it was unbelievable. His voice goes right through us!
Unfortunately, Rock fans in Maine didn’t understand (Who) SlipKid is. Always a great night filled with hard rock classics, performed like hard rock deserves. This particular show does deserve a Rock-n-Roll cliche; "I forgot the F’N words" Long Live Rock!!
You can’t stay seated as Cherone delivers these Who tracks like a testosterone-charged punch in the face! As a forever-Who-fan, I can only say… Meet The New Boss!! SLIPKID!!
