About
Sleepytime Gorilla Museum is an experimental rock band formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1990s. Known for their unconventional instrumentation and avant-garde sound, the band developed a cult following for their "cracked prog-metal anthems" and went on to influence other progressive rock artists. After splitting up in 2011, the band reunited in 2023, and embarked on a "Grand Reopening Tour" in the spring of 2024.
