Slander Tickets

11/10 super insane crowd, lot's of energy, just super a super fun crowd .

Slander disappointed here, on their 2018 tour. It was the classic spiral into mediocrity as many big headline EDM artists have suffered. Play one or two tracks for 30 secs, stop it completely to play another song that does not fit the mix, and break all momentum. Then play a slow song for 3 minutes, then play a dubstep song and completely stop it 20 seconds later to play another crowd appealing song. Add a ridiculous number of CO2 cannons (I'm serious - there were more drops using CO2 than without) and you have a 100% lack of immersion and crappy mixing ruined by annoying CO2 cannon sounds that really turns any tracklist into a sad experience for the audience. Don't forget one of the Slander guys who keeps using a fake cool-bro-from-LA voice to try and hype you up - I'd be hype without the voice if you just played decent songs for more than 60 seconds at a time. Wavedash, the opener, was infinitely better than Slander. Will not see Slander again. Don't bother if you're looking for a good EDM show. Go see good artists that care about live sets and mixing.

They killed it. Bottom line. Packed show. Good vibrations!!
