    Talented and Personal

by BAAASSSSSSSSS on 4/1/12Best Buy Theater - New York

Skream and Benga are incredibly talented and pioneered the whole dubstep genre. Seeing them live really allowed me to appreciate all the recent dubstep and brostep out there. The venue was perfect. The sound quality was just right, not too loud to give you a headache, but loud enough to feel the BBBAAAAASSSSSS. The light show wasn't anything special, putting more attention on the artists themselves and actually making the concert feel more personal and less of a show for everyone. I actually got to see the artist at work up close in a small venue; that wouldn't happen if it were Skrillex at Roseland Ballroom. It's my favorite concert of the year so far.

    Perfect from beginning to end.

by itat on 3/30/12Best Buy Theater - New York

I missed Hijak but Jackmaster did a great job blending hip hop and some classic bass and getting everyone hyped. Plastician as usual killed it! Skream and Benga came correct played everything from Night to Benga's new single I Will Never Change. I will never miss their gigs when they are in town. Classic proper UK bass, I have a ton of respect for them and they are worth every dollar spent.

    Fucking awesome.

    by Doc311 on 10/27/11Terminal 5 - New York

Great venue, plenty of space to chill/cool/off drink when you're not down and dirty in the pit, easy to get right up against the stage with awesome sound.

It was pretty good, not worth 50 bucks though.

The DJ's need to be more intoxicated. Last year, I couldn't understand a word Benga was saying he was so shwasted.

    skreammmm and benga

    by Emmuhhlee419 on 10/24/11Terminal 5 - New York

So the music was reallly good but because it was an underage event it sucked. Too many little immature kids. The only reason I went was because I am in loveeeee with benga and he never comes to NY and honestly I was only there for an hour and never got to see him go on it was so bad!

Great show, but too many high school kids!

by Exxx on 10/24/11Terminal 5 - New York

I've been a fan of Skream&Benga for a few years now and I was super excited to see them at Terminal 5. This event was hosted by the HARD Halloween and was a NYC equivalent to the bigger LA event happening the following weekend. Because of this, a lot of people were dressed up. The show was great, but honestly I couldn't believe how many high school kids there were. Upon entry, two young scantily clothed girls asked me if they were letting in people under 16 years old... They said they were only 15 and that their entire high school was there that night... that being said, majority of the guys and girls looked extremely young and did not actually know anything about Skream and Benga or Joker or Dillon Francis. I'd say that at least half the crowd was comprised of high school kids. The older crowd was found near the bars on the upper levels. In terms of music though, Joker was amazing! And of course Skream and Benga were amazing!
