The Shining Star show we attended the other night was so fun! The group sounds just like EWF…. They’re all very talented. The show was high energy and really engaged the audience. Would definitely recommend this to any EWF fan or funk lover ! It’s a definite flashback to a special time.
Venue very comfortable...there isn't a bad seat in the house. Shining Star was fabulous - if you closed your eyes, you would think you were actually hearing Earth Wind and Fire. These guys are real showman...enjoyed every minute of it.
They were a high energy act. Really bring it. Enjoyed a visit back to funk, and disco era.
We saw this amazing tribute band at Follansbee WV community days. We were blown away by this group! Exceptional! If you can’t get to see Earth Wind and Fire then Shining Star is the next best thing!!
The Afros were fake, but the music was real. A high energy performance by some amazing musicians. The show is a must see. Highly recommended. One of the best tribute band shows ever.
They sounded just like the original EW&F. Did great variety of tunes. Kept the whole audience moving. Just a plain good time . Forgot "Easy Lover" though. That was only complaint. Can't wait to go again.
No one can replace EWF, but this band did a great job!
Shining Star hits the mark head on! As a tribute band honoring Earth, Wind and Fire, they have nailed it, from the very impressive vocals, horn line, percussion, and bass guitar that keeps the energy going! A fun, high energy band worth every penny!!! Don't miss out!!
They were a GREAT group. I did not expect the best, but it was THE BEST. I liked it being so close to home as well. They played lots of hit songs. One band member even came out on the floor with us singing which allowed for some picture taking. I had great seats. I can't wait until they return again. I have recommended so many of my family and friends to the next show that they will be performing. A must do again!! This was by far the our best date night out.
