Just what my kid wanted, great performers also

by GreedFeed on 5/3/16The Palace Theatre Albany - Albany

This was the perfect show for my almost two year old daughter, she is still warming up to exciting moments and the actors were very conscious of that when interacting with her, they didn't push her to interact with them anymore than she was willing, it was very impressive to see the actors recognize my daughter was excited to see them but also not quite ready to hug them like many of the other children. It was really a special night for my family and I.

The show was great! Everything I thought it would be and more. We have a son who is Elmo obsessed and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. He's 2 years old and pretty patient (I think) for his age, but still, my only thing was that perhaps 90 minutes was too long for him (plus we went to a 1pm show, so right in his normal nap time). He was fine until intermission (at about 60 minutes), but that last 30 minutes was difficult...we did end up leaving a few minutes early. The show length is perfect for a 3 or 4 year old I'd say...

The show was fun and informal. Everyone was on their feet dancing and singing. Good for all ages.

    Perfect for Two Year Olds

by LottieB on 4/27/16Agganis Arena - Boston

This was an awesome show for our 24 month old who loves Sesame Street. I'd say it's not worth it for anyone under 14 months, they will get too restless, there was a 12 month old next to us who just was too young to enjoy it. Loving Sesame Street is also of course a plus!

    Sesame st live was amazing

by Heidisug on 4/27/16Agganis Arena - Boston

We payed the extra money for the meet and greet and front row seats. Our 16 month old daughter loves every second of the show. We were under the speakers so we're very happy to have brought her ear protection along. The characters and dancers noticed and interacted with the kids so everyone thought they had front row seats!!

Buy tickets close to the stage for Sesame Street !

by momtotwoandfouryearold on 4/27/16Agganis Arena - Boston

Good and entertaining for the kids. Not so interesting for the parents. It would have been nice to know that you should buy tickets closest to the stage to be able to say hi to the actors. We were further away and although my daughter went down and stood for 40 minutes hoping to say hello to one of them, it was not possible. I would say that you have to be quite close to be a part of the party.

    Very entertaining but really loud

by Anonymous on 3/19/16Broome County Forum - Binghamton

Let's Dance was very entertaining for my 2 year old. Unfortunately the music and voices were very loud. It really was unbearable at times. People around us were plugging their ears. You may want to bring some headphones or ear plugs.

    Fun and Energetic!

by UpstateNYmomof4 on 3/19/16Broome County Forum - Binghamton

Me and my husband took our two youngest 4 and 1 to the early show. The kids had time before the show to meet Elmo, Cookie monster and Rosita. My 4 year was suprised to see how big they were compared to how they look on TV. We sat in the second row and had isle seats which I highly recommend. This is because during the show the characters come off the stage and down the isles and interact with the kids. 90% of the show is filled with singing and dancing my 1 yr. old was clapping the whole time, so were me and my husband. If you have the time I highly recommend Taking the little ones. Tip: bring extra cash the souvenirs are pricy.

    Let's Dance!

by Monrosky on 3/17/16Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

Great show and the kids really loved it. The Oakdale theatre is a great venue for this type of event, with plenty of food and trinkets for the kids, and a cash-bar for the parents to boot. Our 4 year old son and 7 year old daughter both enjoyed the stage show very much, even though our daughter initially thought she might be too old to enjoy it! Take your kids.. the whole family will enjoy it!

    So exciting!

by Jo060782 on 3/16/16Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

My daughters, age 20 months and 3 years old, LOVED this show! They weren't too fond about the characters coming in the audience because they don't like characters in costume much yet, but it was fun anyways! We danced pretty much the whole time! Would recommend to anyone with young children!

    greatl show

by bookfairytwo on 3/16/16Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

Our almost 2 year old loved the show. It was perfect for her! She knew the songs, the main characters were all there (except Oscar) and it was a fast paced, energetic show. Great finale which helped say the good by to the characters. I would highly recommend it for all toddlers. I was disappointed in the staff at the venue who didn't control the babies and big moms who stood in the aisle blocking our view and distracting us from the show. By the second act, the characters stopped coming down the aisle which took away from the fun.

Wonderful show for little ones and adults!

by JuneBugsMaMa on 3/13/16Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Loved the music, dancing and character interaction with the children! I would suggest going to Sunday or weekday show. It was our first time going to a Friday night show and it was quite chaotic, so the overall experience wasn't the best.
