    Not what I expected

by Roseann on 11/26/19Resorts World Catskills - Monticello

The show was ok. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I thought it was a cooking demo. Marcus took over and it was more of a meet and greet Q&A session. I enjoy Scott Conant very much and am a huge fan. It just wasn't what I expected.

    Very pointless show

    by J. C. on 11/26/19Resorts World Catskills - Monticello

There was no actual cooking done or explained, it was basically Marcus blabs and Scott talks occasionally. Marcus gives away wine and cookbooks and IGNORES whole sections of the audience and Scott occasionally talks. It was honestly not even worth the $25 each that the tickets cost. The sound system shows why this casino is VERY FAR INFERIOR to Turning Stone, Del Lago and pretty much every other casino in the state.

    Horrible Venue

by j. on 11/26/19Resorts World Catskills - Monticello

Scott was very friendly like always. The seating and audio was horrible we walked out a 1/2 hour into it.

    Very misleading

by Lea on 11/26/19Resorts World Catskills - Monticello

Not as all what it was billed as. Event was entitled "A Thanksgiving with the Pros" and promised a live cooking demo. No cooking demo at all - food was already in pans and neither chef explained how to make their dish - no recipe provided. They catered to one side of audience passing out glasses of wine and cookbooks to only one section. Then the remainder of the time was spent answering questions (no time limit on questions) and then the event abruptly ended. I was so looking forward to this and was extremely disappointed.

    Disappointed

by Kathy D on 11/26/19Resorts World Catskills - Monticello

What was advertised as a cooking demonstration, ended up being nothing more than two celebrity chefs joking with each other, bantering back and forth, taking some questions from people, spending tons of time taking photos while on stage, etc. Everything EXCEPT giving a cooking demonstration. Not at all as event was advertised.

    Disappointed

by Mom63 on 11/26/19Resorts World Catskills - Monticello

We were expecting a cooking demonstration, not a bad comedy/talk show. Scott Connant said they had an hour & a half. The “cooking” part was all of 5 minutes. The rest was 45 minutes of boredom.

    Cooking Show

by Mesee on 11/26/19Resorts World Catskills - Monticello

Very disappointing. Both men were all over the place. They looked at their clocks after 45 minutes and announced we are out of here. What was the subject? Good question. $65.00 could have been spent on a Thanksgiving dinner.
