About

Sada Baby In Concert

It's not easy to make a national name for yourself as a hip-hop musician from Detroit. Eminem, Big Sean, and J Dilla did it first, and now Sada Baby is breaking out across the U.S. Born Casada Sorrell in 1992, Sada Baby hails from Detroit's east side, where he grew up singing in the church choir, making music with his family, and playing sports.

Although he rapped a lot in his youth, he was on the verge of going to cooking school and playing college basketball; it all changed, however, when he won local rap competition Imported From The D. After that, it was off to the races.

Sada Baby first came into the larger underground scene as a featured artist on Danny Mellz's "Megaman X" before he started releasing successful hits. His first major solo break was 2017's "Big Skuba," which enjoyed an exclusive premiere on Worldstar Hip Hop and has gotten more than 3 million views.

That same year, he released two albums: ‘D.O.N.' and ‘Skuba Sada,' which featured Cammy Bands, Motown Ty, and Oba Rowland. The album saw the release of the single "Guatemalan," whose video has almost 2 million views and featured fellow Detroit native Tee Grizzley, another hometown breakout star. In turn, Grizzley featured Sada Baby on his own single "Hilton." The two have worked and toured together frequently since.

Perhaps Sada Baby's biggest break came with 2018's "Bloxk Party" video, which has more than 31 million views on YouTube. He also released single "Cheat Codes," which was hugely successful. Sada Baby has since reached No. 19 on the Billboard Trendsetters chart and continues to release hit singles.

Was a ok show. Audience made it a blast, artist need to be timely or at least let the crowd enjoy more of the fav songs to compensate the intermissions.

No purpose in paying for an expensive ticket if you can just sit where you want. Artist took forever coming out. The Hype guy did more work by entertaining the crowd as if they were trying to stall the crowd. Doors open at 7:30, concert was supposed to start at 8:30, first artist didn't hit stage until around 10, and from that point on a lot of stalling the crowd.
