    Rustics rocks!

by T. on 9/9/19Port City Music Hall - Portland

Rustic Overtones completely rocked out at this show! The last couple of times I saw them were at smaller venues where they were very subdued. At this show they let it all hang out! They did new songs and Long Division songs. Horns were great. The crowd was great in Portland. Can’t wait to see them again.

Rustic Overtones at AURA ,Portland, Maine.

by Lee Hebert on 3/17/19Aura - Portland

Rustic Overtones played to a hometown audience one week from losing core member Dave Noyes, who for close to thirty years played with the most popular and beloved band from the state of Maine. The show was many beautiful things, but based on love ,compassion and brotherhood. Rustic Overtones never sounded better as they kept the crowd on their feet, singing along or cherring for more. Rustics setlist spanned thier nearly thirty year recording career. Fellow local musicians joined them on various songs as former members Spencer Albee and Tony McNaboe filled thier proper spots on stage. Aura was for the most part sold out and the sound and lights fantastic. The large jumbotron screen at the back of the stage had Dave Noyes personal photos and school homework papers continually running. There was a lot of emotion in the building and only one component missing Dave Noyes.

All three of the artists were absolutely amazing in different ways. The whole show was captivating and entertaining, all of the bands had pleasant onstage presences, and everything sounded fantastic.

    Awesome Show

by RaeRae96 on 4/3/18Port City Music Hall - Portland

This show was outstanding! Bella's Bartok was nothing like I expected, but such a great band that got the crowd moving and kept them moving throughout their set. The Rustic Overtones were amazing as well, with a great mix of old & new music. Gutter had been sick the week prior to the show, but he didn't let it slow him down! We love the Port City Music Hall because of it's feeling of intimacy with the bands and the sound is phenomenal.

I have an obsession with this band

by localfangirl on 1/5/16Port City Music Hall - Portland

Gutter never ceases to amaze me with his energy! I have been a fan for over 20 years now and every time I see they are playing locally I purchase tickets and they never disappoint. They engage well with their fans and it is clear they are natural performers with incredible talent. I already bought tickets to see them again in 3 weeks! ;-)
