    good time

    by Jay F on 7/25/23

I brought my family for the ROH show as a last-minute birthday celebration backup after a restaurant was surprisingly closed. The wrestling promotion and the venue did not leave us disappointed. We, including one non-wrestling fan, had a super time and enjoyed the show. Big respect to the entire staff, from concessions workers to visual production crew from ROH, for creating an enjoyable experience.

    Rings and Honor

    by Revo on 7/24/23

There was certainly a ring and various amounts of Honor through out the event. In all seriousness it was a great show. All the matches were entertaining, some phenomenal. The hard-core match definitely stole the show. Only real complaint was the promos were hot trash. But I didn't go to see these raided out adonis' rant to a camera, I went to see then clobber each other and got every cent of my money's worth. If these guys are ever in your town absolutely go. I hope they come back soon.

    ROH: Death before Dishonor

Had a great experience. Seats were amazing. Concession lines need to be more efficient. Waited way too long from crab fries

Never a bad seat at the Cure Insurance Arena

    by Djs1345 on 7/24/23

The arena being smaller then most in the tri state, In my opinion there is no bad seat in the house. I wish more markee events like this can show up to the Cure Insurance Arena just like back then when it was called the Sovereign Bank Arena. As a single ticket buyers you'll never know what characters you'll sit next to and they can make or break the experience at times but all in all, the event was good. Ticket was only 30 dollars on the day of the event and I was able to sit in section 107 row BBB.

ROH Wrestling in Trenton NJ on 7/21/23 - Good Show !

    by ROHead on 7/24/23

It had been several years since I attended a show at the Cure Arena in Trenton , NJ ... I was pleasantly surprised at how ADA friendly the venue was ... The entire staff was very friendly and helpful ! Being a regular fan of Ring of Honor wrestling , I pretty much knew what to expect ... The technical wrestling style is better than average ... but the show has less theatricality of other organizations like AEW or WWE ... it's typically.. one wrestler has a title belt , the other wrestler wants the championship ... and they fight ... as a result , some grapplers come off as bland and colorless ... Death before Dishonor was a good show overall ... there were no matches that were out and out bad ... and most were very good . The standout matches , in my opinion , were the TV title match , Samoa Joe vs. Dalton Castle , and the World champion match , Claudio Castignoli vs. PAC ... All competitors in these contests were exceptional . The 8 team World tag team match , Lucha Brothers vs Best Friends vs The Kingdom vs Aussie Open , was terrific also , but trying to keep track of 8 wrestlers got to be a bit much ... I think it would have served everyone better if this had been broken up into 2 standard tag team matches with 2 men vs 2 men ... My only other criticism would be the placement of some of the matches on the card ... the World title match followed a Fight Without Honor match ... both featured wrestlers crashing through ringside tables ... If these matches had been spaced out between each other , the effect would have been more impactful ... Also , the World title match should have closed the card instead of the Women's World title match ... both were excellent contests , but the men's match had more meaning for future feuds in ROH In conclusion , a very positive experience , and hoping Cure Arena will host more pro wrestling events very soon !
