Impeccable choreography, dancing, & great music.
by Lupo Loco on 8/15/23The dancers of the troupe were all highly skilled, full of grace and power, exploring the language of ballet while not being tethered by old tropes. The music, mostly Philip Glass (a favorite) was embodied beautifully, the movement expressing the mood and feeling of the music without any literal interpretation. The performance began almost 30 minutes late, probably due to the terrible parking payment system at the university. There was also a lengthy intermission, understandable considering the strenuous efforts of the dancers in the first half. My wife and I drove home aglow with bliss and joy. We look forward to seeing the Raiford Rogers Modern Ballet perform again.
