Pierre Bensusan Tickets

Over the years, I’ve seen Pierre Bensusan play several times. (The first times was at the old 5 Points South location of Joe Bar in 1982.) This one at Avondale Brewery was the best of the Pierre Bensusan shows I’ve seen. His playing was very strong at the Avondale show, and the PA reinforced his sound faithfully and naturally. There were, however, a few aspects of the show that could have been better. First and foremost, the cheap white chairs at the event were terribly uncomfortable. For long shows—and this was a long one—much more comfortable chairs were needed. Also, there were some weird sounds coming from some sort of electric blower during one portion of the show. That could have been easily avoided. Other than those problems, the venue was a good one for Pierre Bensusan’s music. Overall, it was a fun evening at a more than reasonable price. I cannot ask for more than that.

Storyteller music experience! First time! Awesome! Pierre was so in the moment and personable with the crowd. Amazing night of music! A unique sound amd so much sound all from one person! Fantastic!

Pierre Bensusan is a world-class guitarist! I've been to concerts with all the major virtuoso guitarists and I have to say that Bensusan was awesome. What I did not expect was the voice, the entertainment, the humor. It was an amazing concert. The only thing that disappointed me was the low attendance. I don't know how well the event was advertised, or if Jackson just didn't know Bensusan, but the crowd was tiny. I didn't even see the usual guitar afficianados. I would definitely go to another Bensusan concert! Amazing, beautiful talent!
