About

Produced and directed by rock legend Steven Van Zandt and innovative design genius Marc Brickman, Once Upon A Dream starring The Rascals is a hybrid of a Rock concert and a Broadway show, Rock N' Soul dance party meets the Jersey Boys.  A bioconcert that is completely original in its concept, Once Upon A Dream was a sold-out hit on Broadway, telling The Rascals story through a combination of live narrative and performance, archival footage and film reenactments.  Every night the audience dances in the aisles while taken through the history of The Rascals, and the history of the 1960s through their music, which includes such smash hits as "Good Lovin", "Lonely Too Long", "It's A Beautiful Morning", "How Can I Be Sure" and "Groovin'."  Don't miss it!

    Rascals rock

    by 4getaboutit on 11/19/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Having seen the Rascals in the late 60s I can honestly say that they may have lost astep but over 40 yrs later the quality and music is still right on. I would endorse this performance to all.

My Dream Came True…..Groovin that Sunday!

    by Pammy51 on 11/16/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The sound system was fantastic, and so was the lighting. Really awesome. The whole show was well thought out, with the background interviews with the Rascals. It was great to see the whole group together again and they still can sing!! Absolutely. The energy and the emotion of this soulful group still lives. Great time! Bring them back!!!!!!!!!!

    Great Concert

by Alcazam on 11/14/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The Rascals were an amazing group in their time. Great songs, great musicianship. The songs are still great and so is the musicianship. We could have done without the narrative which was confusing, not particularly interesting, self agrandizing in an annoying way, and wholly unnecessary. This should have been a concert with relevant images showing on the screen in the background. Those minor complaints aside, I totally loved listening to the music and would highly recommend it to anyone that went to college (or didn't) between 1960 and 1975.This is a show for us boomers. Don't bring the kids, don't sell tickets to anyone under 50. If they don't know who Richie Havens was, don't let 'em in.
