Paid $30 and it was not good, wait until 12am and the dj still wasn’t fully playing the artist advertised, kept switching between genres and the people clearly were not vibing. left at 12:30.
The songs had poor transitions, there were a few instances where the songs the dj was playing actually worked out well but apart from that it was just chaotic. Not a good tempo there were many people who left the venue early because they’re also were not fans of the event.
There was not enough bathroom stalls for the amount of people in the event I highly suggest masquerade opens up all of their bathrooms so people don’t suffer having to go to the bathroom . The place had a good music, but they need to make sure they have enough bathrooms 5 stalls is not enough especially in women’s bathrooms.
Definitely worth the money. The Django stated a for a long and awesome night.
The bathrooms were overflowing so people started leaving. DJ was not feeling the crowd. It could have been organized better.
Dj Jose is very talented, he has a big following in the St. Louis area. He played a great set and kept the audience happy! The venue is kinda hidden and it’s pretty small. Drinks are below average, and security isn’t as tight as it should be. I saw a few minors consuming alcohol, and also there was a time where many individuals jumped on stage and security was not able to get them off. Overall a good experience with great music, but it was all because of the DJ, not the venue.
I give it 2 stars because the music she was playing was good music, but she kept repeating it again and again. I feel like she needs more practice on how to get the crowd moving and making the crowd to not leave. I did notice a lot of group of people leaving, and I did expect a little bit more out of the Santa Ana show. I did go to the house of blues and I believe that one was a bit more better not just because of the crowd but the variety of music she brought back.
