    It was a great Opera i was excited to ck it off the list but was very disappointed in how the Mikado ended. Didn't know it wasn't going to be the original story. Also didn't think today's world would insert itself into cultural stories that were part of history. If i had just been in another city i would have seen THE MIKADO and not a opera that was changed to fit the overly sensitive world we live in. I know its a sensitive subject for people who it was there cultural history but most people who attend opera are adults and mature enough to understand. Hope this isnt a trend.
