DECC Symphony Hall - Duluth
8 lady friends in our 50s-70s with varying senses of humor ALL thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the show. The four actresses were phenomenal singers and actors. Would definitely see again!!! Blown away. :)

Disappointed
DECC Symphony Hall - Duluth
Went with all of my sisters for a get-together… We were all quite disappointed with the show… It seemed to be okay at the start (although not much humor), and it progressively became crude and vulgar… I wanted to walk out, but didn’t because I was seated in the middle of the row… So I quit watching…

Great Show, even for guys
Harrah's Cabaret at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las Vegas
My wife and I really enjoyed this little gem. The four lady's had great voices and had a lot of fun with the classic song parodies with lyrics about 'the change'.. It was like Weird Al in a dress. It's done a small cabaret, without a bad seat in the house. Our only complaint is we couldn't find out anything about the performers. The program was via the QR code at your table that only brought up adds, no program. For the price of a ticket is it to tough to Xerox some programs?

Funny and so True
DECC Symphony Hall - Duluth
The musical was awesome!!! All 4 singers were top notch and did a beautiful job. The songs they chose were great and I will never hear the originals again without remembering Menopause the Musical. We sat in the balcony and it still felt like we were right there.

Hilarious
DECC Symphony Hall - Duluth
They nailed it from the Hot flashes to the brain farts. We couldn't stop laughing. We will definitely be seeing it again. One thing they might add is I am a Nurse and many husbands complain about their wives Hot Flashes, how bad can they really be. well, I ask them how did they feel after their Cat scan with contrast and they explain to me. I say that's what your wife's Hot flash is like only yours went away. Loved the musical, spreading the word for everyone I know to go see it

DECC Symphony Hall - Duluth
Fun girls night! Don’t expect a Broadway-level musical, but you will appreciate the humor and laugh a lot! Definitely a fun night!

We loved it (there were four of us).
DECC Symphony Hall - Duluth
The only negative is that they could use a better sound system, we were in the middle of the main floor and sometimes couldn’t make out some of the words. We would all see it again, laugh out loud funny!

A little disappointing
DECC Symphony Hall - Duluth
The DECC in Duluth Minnesota was a beautiful facility but the balcony seating was too far from the stage to fully enjoy the performance. I have seen this performance before and totally enjoyed it but the balcony seating acoustics made it difficult to understand the lyrics And resulted in a disappointing experience

Menopause The Musical on Tour
There are ch-ch-changes of life aplenty in Menopause The Musical, the hit Off-Broadway production (2002-06) that has sold more than 15 million tickets since its 2001 debut. Written by Jeanie Linders, Menopause rejiggers two dozen hit songs from the ‘50s through the '80s to talk to women — and the men who love but may not completely understand them — about food cravings, hot flashes, memory lapses, night sweats, the lure of cosmetic surgery and other common responses to the natural aging process. The longest-running scripted musical in Las Vegas history, Menopause is playing at Harrah's Cabaret and around North America on the latest legs of a tour that has included some 500 cities worldwide. Call its appeal "half-universal" and join Menopause's celebration — with laughter and sisterhood — of something every woman may eventually experience.
About Menopause The Musical
A Professional Woman, an Earth Mother, an Iowa Housewife and a Soap Star meet in Bloomingdale's lingerie department. So begins Menopause The Musical, which quickly amps up into a series of rollicking rewrites of familiar pop hits: "Chain of Fools" becomes "Change of Life," "Staying Alive" becomes "Staying Awake," "Night Fever" become "Night Sweating" and "My Guy" becomes "My Thighs." The music is nostalgic and the wordplay never less than clever. ''Nothing I can do 'cause it sticks like glue — to my thighs,'' sings the Iowa Housewife. ''No matter what I eat, there's always cellulite — on my thighs.''
While the four women come from vastly different backgrounds, they share a single inescapable characteristic: All are going through menopause. In addition to common observations on appetites ("Looking for Food in All the Wrong Places") and energy lapses ("Puff, My God I'm Draggin'"), Menopause goes there with slightly edgy observations on vibrators ("Only You") and antidepressants ("My doctor prescribed a pill to control my urge to kill").
Menopause The Musical provides a rare opportunity to see older female actors in starring roles discussing menopause publicly. It also recognizes, represents and celebrates female audience members as never before, and that's one change long overdue.
