    Lied to and Let down.

by ThePiffer on 10/24/18The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

The show was great. I saw Nick the last time he was in town with his last book, and this year's show was just as great. BUT, I was extremely disappointed with the "Book signing." Turns out, the extra money I paid to meet Megan and Nick and have them sign my copy of their book was nothing more than a quick handshake and not actually a book signing. When the line to meet them wasn't moving (were they watching the Cubs' game instead?), I ended up leaving. One of the reasons I loved these two was that they seemed like two people who happen to be famous actors. Sadly, their "bait and switch" after the show just showed us all that they are just two more Hollywood phonies. I want the extra money I paid for the book signing portion of the show back.

Not worth the money or time

by Mitch356 on 10/9/18The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Although I love both of them, this felt unprepared and uninteresting. They phoned it in (actually, they should have just phoned it in and saved us all the trip).

    Just okay.....

by sonandme on 10/5/18The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

We (husband, daughter & SIL) attended this event thinking it would be a "stand-up" act with Megan and Nick. Instead it was about their book, which was not stated anywhere in the advertisement. We didn't find it very funny or entertaining. Will Forte was moderating and really trying to get the laughs, but even that was hard for him. Chicago Theatre should also put on their tickets (something we missed?) that you have to check all backpacks. With so many people coming right from work, the line was incredibly long and the production started 1/2 hour late. My husband was not happy leaving his work computer in a storage area. Handed really poorly by the theatre.

    Megan Mullally and Nick

by Anonymous on 10/5/18The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Very disappointing. Moments of laughter but overall just boring and not inclusive with the audience.,

    What an experience

by DustyFloors on 10/5/18The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

I sprang for the VIP tickets for myself and my wife to see Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally. The seats were great. The show was amazing (Will Forte moderator which was a wonderful surprise). The Chicago Theater staff was awesome, and the meet and greet afterward was the icing on the cake to a great event!

    LOVE Nick & Megan, but...

by SciComJB on 10/5/18The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

My wife and I are huge fans of Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally and we’re excited to spend an evening with them. That being said, the program started over half an hour late and felt like it dragged on forever. Will Forte is hilarious in his own right, but as a moderator didn’t keep the conversation moving very. The whole evening felt very one-note.

    Cute couple but boring show

by ElizabethGo on 10/5/18The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Will Forte was great and Nick tried his best to add insight and levity to the show but I wouldn’t recommend seeing them unscripted. It was a mess.

    Unscriptedly Forgetable

by MattyHo96 on 10/5/18The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

The event was not accurately described and instead of any sort of show, it was a two hour interview. Amazing how three very funny actors could be so boring... super bummed I paid good money for this.

    Nick Offerman & Megan Mullaly

These two a such a great coupling. It was a relaxing and fun evening. And the Chicago Theater is a great venue.

Could have been so much better

by EvanstonDrew on 10/5/18The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

A truly bad job of moderating by Will Forte made the event much less enjoyable than it should have been. Megan and Nick can be funny, but Will’s questions seemed to be designed to see how uncomfortable he could make them. I’ve heard each of them give really funny interviews. This was not one of those occasions.
