The skating floor was much smaller than I thought, and the line to get on the rink was over an hour. Once you were on the rink, you only got about 20 min before you were kicked off for the next batch of people. It was a cool and different event, but wish the skating part that they advertised was better managed.
I loved the crowd that attended this event, it was so fun to mingle with everyone in their creative costumes. The skating aspect of this event was poorly planned. The event description said they were bringing in a professional rink but it was small and made of interlocking plastic tiles. Your wheels couldn't grip the plastic floor and the tiles were separating creating cracks that people would trip and fall over. You could only skate in 15 min sessions and then people had to return the skates because they didn't have enough. There were so many people waiting in line for skates, some of them must have waited 1hr plus. I brought my own skates. POORLY PLANNED
