Liz Frame and the Kickers released their debut album, Sooner, in 2011. Sooner featured some of the New England region's most heralded studio musicians, including Duke Levine, Kevin Barry and Bobby Keys. She followed Sooner with Justine in 2015, an EP of emotionally savvy and mindfully intellectual songwriting. In 2018, she released another full-length album Sparrow in a Shoebox, to critical acclaim.

Frame was raised in Boston, listening to some of music's most talented icons, including Jimmie Rodgers, Elvis Presley, Billie Holiday, and B.B. King. She's combined those influences with the music of her teenage years -- The Rolling Stones, Joni Mitchell and Led Zeppelin -- resulting in music that's as compelling to listen to as it is enjoyable.
She started her songwriting career at the age of 9 and picked up a guitar at the age of 14. In an interview with Everything Sundry, she said, "Once I started playing guitar, the whole songwriting thing really took off for me. But even before songwriting, I was writing. I started keeping a diary as a young girl. In high school, I wrote for the school paper. I was an English major in college. I'm a wordsmith, I guess." Frame's words are steeped in tradition and Americana, offering a musical step back in time with a dash of forward thinking.
