J.R. Richards Tickets

I missed out on the early days of Dishwalla, busy with school. By the time I realized what an amazing band they were, it was too late, and J.R. was living in the UK. Hearing live recordings of Dishwalla (Greetings from the Flow State) was great but painful at the same time- I missed out! Loved J.R.'s new work, but it was softer, more mellow, and I missed the searing guitar of Rodney to go along with J.R.'s songwriting and impeccable vocals. Flash forward to 2020, and I see J.R. is planning a tour in the US so of course I bought tickets (400 miles away, but whatever!) Then Covid, aargh. So I kept my original tickets (still valid) and added a second night. So saw their first show in Agoura Hills and then two nights later in Santa Clarita. Firstly, he's assembled a killer band, so I got my wish to hear Dishwalla in a way. Wesley Garren (aka Wes Styles) knows the Rodney guitar licks perfectly, he is an amazing talent! The rest of the band is amazing too. J.R. is not only a great songwriter and musician, but he's also a super nice guy, he came out after the show to talk with fans like me. What a treat!

We had perfect seat near the sage but everyone had good seats. J R Richards was fantastic to hear live and see perform.

Fantastic shows. I was lucky to see him Thursday and Saturday night. Would definitely recommend any concert starring JR Richards! He’s got the most beautiful voice on the planet and sings everything from country to credence, better than the originals!
