Ran late & venue run poorly

by Gemma on 11/14/23Casino Rama Resort - Rama

The content of the show was as expected, and enjoyable. The show started very late (unsure how late because they locked up our phones and watches). Due to the late start time and the show being on a week night, we were unable to stay for the entire show. We left at 11pm (show was suppose to be from 8-10:30), which I suspect was about half way through John Mulaney’s set. The rows of seating were placed very close together and didn’t leave much room for people to get through without you having to move to let them by or having them spill drinks on you. They served drinks throughout the show and allowed people in and out at will, so approximately every five to ten minutes, our view was obstructed and we had to move to let people through. Made it very difficult to relax and enjoy the show.

    This Duo was Dynamite!

by Queen M on 11/12/23Casino Rama Resort - Rama

We thoroughly enjoyed the Pete Davidson and John Mulaney show. Their opener got the crowd laughing and the laughs never stopped. Very fortunate that these awesome comics came to a venue so close to our home. Excellent night of comedy!!

    Comedy at a casino resort

by Sue on 11/12/23Casino Rama Resort - Rama

Comics were on point and fantastic! The venue was embarrassing. A casino could create a much better environment and not make Toronto a laughingstock. Do better next time.

    AMAZING AND HILARIOUS

by Halestormp on 10/12/23Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

Incredible show. Non-stop laughs. Beautiful venue and pretty intimate considering how big both comedians are. 10/10 would recommend. No restricted views.

    Very reasonable price, ok show

by ComedyGoer on 10/12/23Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

The opener was good. Pete Davidson had a few minutes of funny material but his energy was aweful. Maybe he was sick? Too many weird jokes about mom and sister. Yup. Just not funny. John Mulaney was good. Professional and refreshing after Pete came out like he just rolled out of bed and wanted to be anywhere but on stage.

Laughed so hard my stomach hurt!

by Kendall on 10/12/23Emens Auditorium - Muncie

This was one of my first like comedy shows and let’s just say I wasn’t disappointed at all. I liked how easy it was to get to our seats even without being able to use our phones. I really appreciate that they had people out there writing down that information for us! All of the comedians kept my attention with their hilarious jokes! I can’t wait to go to more in the future

    1 Star without John Mulaney

by Jen Fox on 10/11/23Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

I have seen John Mulaney twice before and his newest Netflix special was exceptional, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed John’s set wasn’t his best, but it wasn’t terrible; it was the only redeeming quality of the entire evening, Without John, I would have given it a one star. The opener and Pete Davidson were so unbelievably bad that at first I started nodding off - with zero alcohol consumed. Eventually I just got up, walked out, got a cup of coffee and waited for it to be over. And it wasn’t bad because it was tasteless, dirty or offensive. It was all of those things but it’s comedy, so what. No, it just wasn’t funny, period. I would definitely give John Mulaney another try but would pass on seeing Pete.
