As always the Birchmere venue was fantastic.....always a great evening. My husband and I were disappointed in the performance itself as we were expecting it to be more traditional Earth Wind and Fire music. Sadly it was not - the band was very talented but we were expecting to hear all of our favorite top 40 type EW&F tunes and left underwhelmed.
The event hall was perfect for seeing the show. The selections of songs was perfect. Everyone had an exceptional voice. I had a wonderful evening.
Excellent show the second half was better than the first half in my option. All around very entertaining.
Excellent. The 15 piece band was perfect and full of Funk. I would highly recommend to see them any chance you get.
Both groups were amazing and brought back lots of memories of super Motown and Earth Wind & Fire greats - a fun evening!
Show was good. However the food was ok, my main entree was good, but the vegetables were cold.
The performers did a very nice job and clearly knew the songs and performance bits very well. It was very good representation of the music and a lot of bang for the buck. The Birchmere was a great venue. Our southern half chicken platter that night added more enjoyment to the evening as well as attentive service.
I thought they put on a great show. They tried to touch on as many songs as time allowed. The two new members that have been added were only a plus. They didn't want to leave us nor did we want them to end...Definitely worth seeing.
This was a nice show, but it was a little too long. One of the singers in the group belabored solos quite a bit, even though he was good. But you're supposed to leave your fans wanting more. I really didn't need anymore. LOL! Also, the African garb costumes were distracting, too much, and really didn't make sense for the theme of the show. The costumes were made worse by the fact that they were the same group of singers for both bands performing. The whole band and all the singers were excellent, but those few drawbacks made this a good show rather than a great show.
A fun evening with great music - a high energy show not to be missed!
