Talent in Dance lack of sound
by K. on 8/13/19Gila River Arena - GlendaleThe show always has the most talented dancers from across the globe. Every crew has an unique style for their interpretation of hip hop dance. The level of difficulty displayed by top scoring groups is mind blowing. What the show lacked was a good quality of sound. It amazes me how no one or sound engineer was adjusting the sound on on the fly. Through out the entire show I felt the crews tracks were too low. Even one point I thought I was watching them dance with no sound and their stomps on the ground were louder than the music. Shameful. And...2 speakers were hung too low. I was in row V juxtapose to the stage slightly in a diagonal vantage point but the speaker obstructed my view. I’ve gone 10 years to this event and never had this issue. I would recommend this show to anybody who has a interest to dance specifically hip hop. I’ll go again but expect better in sound quality. The bass should rattle my bones. It should feel like a stadium concert since it’s in an arena and not like quiet symphony concert. Overall I’d give it a 8/10
