    Terrible show

by D. B. on 7/17/22The Avalon Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

This unfortunately was one of the worst shows we have ever seen. This should never have been made into a musical. The actors performed and sang ok but the whole story line was just bad.

    Very good show.

by Linda on 7/16/22The Avalon Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

I wasn't expecting a great show, but it really was very good. I hope it goes to Broadway. The performances were top notch, especially the leads.. The music was great. The special effects were terrific. I was sorry to see the theater only half full. I'm a music teacher and fully appreciated all that went into this show. I felt the audience was anemic in it's applause. I'm not sure why.

    Over priced for amateur theater.

by Babygirl on 7/13/22The Avalon Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

The male lead was very good, the female was so so and her wardrobe was aweful. The staging was very amateur and lacking. The actress who played whoppies part was good. The first half was slow and got better as it went along. I did enjoy it, but was very underwhelmed. Seriously if the tickets were 35-50 dollars ok. As an expensive night out, very disappointing. Also very important, the seating was horribly uncomfortable. The seats didnt even have arms and many people were complaining how uncomfortable they were. Over all very disappointing. One other bright spot, the actor who played the ghost in the subway was very good. Sorry it was nice to be out again, but for the most part some what boring.

Wonderful performances. This is a great show

by A. E. on 7/13/22The Avalon Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

The acting was excellent. I found myself really engaged. The performances made me believe the story just as convincingly as the movie. I recommend you see this show.

    Covid nonsense

by Paul on 7/10/22The Avalon Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

Covid is now endemic. People buy tickets in advance, not expecting they will contact covid, but it happens. The venues have a policy to exclude anyone who tests positive. BUT, they do not offer refunds or alternate dates. Responsible people who test positive stay home. This is not true for everyone. when faced with the prospect of not using the tickets, some people will go regardless. This promotes the spread of covid at their event. This should not happen. Everyone, the client and the venue should step up to avoid spread. Alternate arrangements are a must to keep the audience safe.
