Ember Swift Tickets

Fantastic show at the Ark. A small and intimate venue, and Ember and her drummer side-kick Chicagoan Kelly (sp?) made the audience feel like we were still very important. Hearing music from the new album 11:11 as well as an old favorite "Intervention", some off her last album- Lentic and learning some Chinese made for a great night. Listening to the way the music comes about from personal experiences always makes you listen to the music later and remember the story behind it. And, at the end, where else can you have an artist, who is 4-5 months pregnant, go running down to her mode of transport to get your friend her ambassador copy of her CD?
