The production, music, and dancing were great. The sound needs to be improved. None of us could understand the dialog/lyrics so we could not understand the story line. The principal actors should have had their own microphones and the mix should have been adjusted so they didn't get drown out by the orchestra.

Maybe it was an off day, but I can’t really name anything that I enjoyed about the show. Possibly because we could barely understand the lead singer. Don’t get me wrong, she did not have a bad voice. I’m not sure if it was the sound enhancements or if her voice is just too powerful, but we couldn’t make out a lot of the words that she was saying. My daughter was confused, it was her first time seeing Evita and she could not keep up on the story because of this. The set was beautiful, excellent choreography, and costumes were amazing. But all in all we were pretty bored and disappointed.
The Drury Lane Theater again gave an outstanding performance of Evita. Peron & Che were perfectly cast. However, Evita was not. When she reached the upper ranges instead of projecting her voice became shriller. In the lower ranges, she was very good. Sitting near the front, we were able to hear the ensemble very well. There unfortunately were sopranos in the ensemble who had much better voices.
The show was outstanding! The extremely talented actors had your undivided attention. The sound system was perfect so you never lost a word. The musicians carried you away. Entry and exit was easy. The valet process was smooth and very fast. Cant wait to attend our next!
My wife and I have seen several productions of Evita, including London and New York, and we thought this was every bit as good as any we've seen. The scale was slightly smaller, but the music and the voices of the principal players, especially Che, were as good as any I've heard. We were very impressed with the clever ways Evita's costume changes were managed, particularly since the action moved so quickly in certain sequences. We thoroughly enjoyed this production and would highly recommend it.

Choreography was uninspiring. Intro was a poor Fosse imitation. Then mostly cast walking in circles waiving hankies. Singing by Evita was too high pitched and seemed to be yelling to compensate for lack of range. Background ''orchestra" was loud & made listening difficult . I've been to Drury lane many times and am usually pleased with the level of talent. Unfortunately I cannot say this was good theatre.
Great singing and choreography. The music arrangements were particularly good. Such talent and energy!
