I went to see Des Bishop at Caroline's last night. My face still aches from laughing. I have never, ever, laughed like that. His humor hits all topics and every one on the mark. I think the audience identified with everything he talked about which made it all the more funnier. He'll be here (in the USA) for a while, so look for him.

Really enjoyed it. He had us in stitches for the night and was able to connect with everyone in the audience. I would definitely recommend to a friend!
Representing Flushing, Queens, the Gaeltacht and now China, Des was on point, teaching and probing. Whether it was introductory Chinese, drinking, parochial Boston/ Ireland, Des did not skip a beat. He has shown phenomenal growth since his early productions and is to be valued for his unique perspectives. He's becoming less profane and more profound. What is his place as a thinker in the contemporary Irish/-American vanguard? Well regarded indeed and deserving of much consideration at the very least.
Great time, great service and really funny show. Would definitely recommend and go again.
BRILLIANT.. but way too short. Des need more gigs in Boston. We don't get enough of him here. Come back soon.
An amazing night. Des was absolutely brilliant....
DES was grand but the whole show including the warm up act lasted from 7.10 to 8.30!!!! I thot it was the intermission, but no the show was over! Couldn't believe it!
Des was fantastic, as always! Hysterically funny, even on the topic of his Dad's illness. Des is brilliant. We need more Des shows in the US!
Des put on a good show although he spent a lot of time looking at his watch which made the crowd feel as though he didnt want to be their.
