    Moving!

by Me on 4/26/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

I learned so much about Auschwitz and didn't know. The event was well organized. You can move at your own pace. Expect to spend about 5 hours there. There was so much to see and view.

    Extremely heartbreaking and sad.

by Penelope on 4/25/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

Absolutely heartbreaking to read and see the clips of the way these beautiful men, women, and children were treated. We must never let this happen again. The terror that was on their faces. It has stuck with me. I can't imagine the fear they lived with daily.

    Excellent exhibit

    by Deb on 4/25/24

I have been to the holocaust museum in Washington a few times. The Auschwitz exhibit offers a different perspective and is very engaging. The audio portion is great and truly adds to the written explanation of the artifacts. I learned many things particularly about many other populations affected by the atrocities. It is a lot to take in. Take your time.

    A Must See for Everyone

    by TrishM on 4/25/24

This was a powerful experience. As a student of history, I still learned quite a bit about how this kind of horror evolved through world events. I took my time, reading every word and absorbing their messages so it took me quite a few hours that passed by in a blink! The self-guided audio tool was excellent with the exception of the four that were miscoded on the devices; I had to help a few older people once I figured it out. This should be a required experience for all middle and high school kids to teach them what hate-speech by insecure people can do to our fellow man if the rest of us don't pay attention.

    Excellent

by DaveJ on 4/24/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

It was beautifully done. There was so much to learn, take in, and think about. Give yourself plenty of time -- we took just over two hours. There's an audio guide, short films, objects to view, and short passages to read at various stations. It was a wonderful history lesson and I would highly recommend it.

    Worth the visit, excellent exhibit.

by Arlene on 4/24/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

As a child of two Holocaust survivors, I’ve been to quite a few museums and exhibits. This exhibit presented a lot of great information in a very logical and well done manner. I appreciated the artifacts and being educated on other groups who were persecuted. Two comments for improvements: some if the small signs were really hard to read, and for those who this was their first exposure to the Holocaust, not including the horrific pictures of what the Allies found when they liberated the camps, is a mistake, in my opinion. Thank you for being this to Boston.

    Auschwitz Exhbit

by JL on 4/24/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

The exhibit was well organized, informative and emotional. I wish that all adults and every school age child could see it. We need this as an educational tool in today’s atmosphere.

    A somber experience

by QuizKidSr on 4/24/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

the exhibit was too overcrowded and did not move through the stations smoothly. I'm unsure of why we bothered having timed entrance. the audio devices were poor quality and the volume was very low (all 4 of the people in my party had the same issue). the instructions for the audio devices was poorly communicated and the numbers at each exhibit did not correspond to the recordings.

    Powerful and Educational

by Kristen on 4/24/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

Spent almost 2 hours there, listening and reading. There is a ton of historical information preceding the holocaust which is important to understand and know. I think everyone should see this exhibit.

    A good exhibit but crowded

by Todd on 4/24/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

A concentration camp exhibit is sobering and I think that this was well done. I wish this was mandatory for American High School students to see. My only reservation is that it was a bit too crowded to coordinate the audio with the displays.
