About

LeAnn Rimes is an international multi-platinum selling acclaimed singer and ASCAP award-winning songwriter. She has sold more than 48 million units globally, won 2 Grammy® Awards; 12 Billboard Music Awards; 2 World Music Awards; 3 Academy of Country Music Awards; 2 Country Music Association Awards and one Dove Award. At 14, Rimes won "Best New Artist" making her the youngest solo artist to take home a Grammy® Award, and at 15, she became the first country artist to win "Artist of the Year" at the Billboard Music Awards.

In 2022, LeAnn was presented with the prestigious ASCAP Golden Note Award, which is an award presented to genre-spanning songwriters, composers and artists who have achieved extraordinary career milestones.

Out of the 63 singles she has released throughout her expansive career, LeAnn's ballad "How Do I Live" holds the record as Billboard's Hot 100 all-time #1 hit by a female artist and currently ranks #6 on Billboard's "Greatest of All Time: Hot 100 Songs" list. 15 of her multi-genre singles are top-10 hits, including "Can't Fight the Moonlight," which went #1 in 11 countries.

The last couple of years have been quite a resurgence for LeAnn. In 2022, the world-renowned singer had a big year including the release of her 19th album god's work (EverLe Records via Thirty Tigers/ The Orchard). The album, which features a roster of accomplished artists including Ziggy Marley, Mickey Guyton, Aloe Blacc, Ben Harper, and more, was listed as #9 on Variety's "The Best Albums of 2022." They said: "You won't find a richer collection of melodic writing on any album released this year, with the twists and turns that maybe only someone capable of all that virtuosic vocalizing could think to take a set of songs into."

She performed songs from the project on national shows including LIVE With Kelly and Ryan and TODAY. In April of the same year, LeAnn headlined an episode of the iconic music series CMT Crossroads entitled LeAnn Rimes & Friends alongside Mickey Guyton, Carly Pearce, Ashley McBryde, and Brandy Clark, who helped commemorate Rimes' career and recognize the path she blazed forward for women in all genres.

LeAnn also served as the inspiration judge on the discovery+ competition series, Meet Your Makers Showdown, alongside Chrissy Metz and Mark Montano in November 2021 and won season four of FOX's The Masked Singer, with Entertainment Weekly stating that she delivered "... the most beautiful performance in the history of The Masked Singer."

In honor of the 2019 Record Store Day, the Grammy-winning superstar unveiled her first-ever LIVE recording as an exclusive vinyl release titled Rimes: Live at Gruene Hall where Rimes celebrated music of all genres. And during the 2018 holiday season she starred and served as an Executive Producer in Hallmark's It's Christmas, Eve, which earned the highest TV original movie debut to-date for the channel premiering to over 4.3 million viewers. Earlier that year, Rimes revealed a new EP for her fans titled Re-Imagined that featured five new versions of some of her record-breaking hits, including an epic duet with the music icon Stevie Nicks. In 2017, LeAnn released Remnants, which debuted at # 4 on Billboard's Independent Album Chart, peaked at #3 on iTunes ® overall charts in its first week, garnered two #1 Billboard Dance hits with "Long Live Love" and "LovE is LovE is LovE," and one Top 5 hit with "Love Line." Additionally, for her Remnants UK Tour, she joined Elton John at the historic Hyde Park in London.

Passionate about using her voice to help heal the world, LeAnn was honored with the Ally of Equality Award by the Human Rights Campaign for her over 20 years of support of equal rights, the 2019 HOPE Award for Depression Advocacy, and 2009 ACM Humanitarian Award, among other recognitions. She continues to channel her voice in new ways, releasing CHANT: The Human & The Holy (EverLe Records / Thirty Tigers) in 2020, which spent 5 weeks at #1 on iTunes New Age Chart, as well as her iHeartRadio mental health and wholeness podcast, Wholly Human, that brings her lifestyle blog, Soul of EverLe, to life. Wholly Human, which currently has three seasons, previously reached #2 on iTunes Health & Fitness Chart, placed in the Top 35 overall for podcasts worldwide and was named as one of the 15 best mental health podcasts that educate and empower listeners by Good Housekeeping.

    Slow

by Robie on 10/25/23Brown County Music Center - Nashville

Voice is fine but the choice of songs was wrong. Only 2 classics and every song was done slowly. Her biggest applause was for a cover song. I’m very disappointed.

    Great voice

Great voice. Was not much of a show production. Didn’t seem like a concert with only a guitar player.

FANtastic one hour of LeAnn Rimes

by Sabaticl on 10/23/23Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - Skokie

LeAnn did have a warmup that we didn't care for, so we hung out in the lobby. She was all by her barefoot lonesome except for a piano and a great guitar accompanist. Nice mix of her new & old songs like BLUE and CRAZY, she occasionally just sat down at the piano and played something jazzy/bluesie we didn't know and sang and it was Great. She didn't do a lot of straight up Country and that was just fine with us. She stuck to her set list except for adding Spaceship and those jazzy/bluesie piano pieces, and Hallelujah at the end. Nice flow, felt very spontaneous and as up close and personal as it can get with another 400 people. More of a spiritual bend toward the end and we much prefer that to Country. North Shore is a nice venue, smaller intimate, great sound and sight lines.

Best concert and undoubtedly best voice!

by Antonio Amodeo on 10/23/23Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - Skokie

All the concert was a great surprise for us, Leann is a really enchanting person, she has a lot of fun when in the stage and make us have fun too, not only because of her beautiful voice, the nice intimate talk with the audience but because she knows how to get us part of the presentation and not up above of the stage as an idol. She is an idol by herself. It was the best concert ever. By the way, the opening act that Abbey Cone did was also a great surprise, she has a lot of talent and a beautiful voice too.

Cried with the memory, cringed at the performance

    by Chris on 10/23/23

Went to her Chicago show and booked front seats. She hasn't lost her voice, so it's a definite plus there. I'd say neither her voice nor her connection with the public have had to suffer along the years. But the concert was a letdown. Took my son there to try and get him an insight into my youth's mindset and about 30 minutes into the show I was frustrated beyond words. In a nutshell, she's managed to change the tempo of all her past hits to adapt to an acoustic gospel-y kind of sound. On the stage it's just her and a guitar player, no orchestra whatsoever. While the experience is definitely intimate, it just feels weird. If one wants to hear "One way ticket"leveled down to the rhythm of Patsy Cline's "Crazy", and "Can't fight the moonlight"downgraded to an emotional performance of a shaky Voice of America contestant, this is for them. But note that not only every song had been changed from its original version, they've also been adapted to a no-orchestra environment - and why the concert isn't labeled "acoustic"is beyond me. Such warnings should be given out by the singer themselves, because nobody wants an entrapped public to their events. Maybe an acoustic wouldn't bring so many fans, but it would definitely only bring forward the people interested in such approaches to music. It's not for everyone. I may be living in the past here, but I feel that's precisely why one visits one of their top artists in a live performance. The key word is "live"not "flushed down"or "séance."Personally I couldn't stand the new and so-called improved (or "mature"as she's called it) version of the songs. Like I said, I hoped to relieve a bit of my youth there, not to get a Sunday morning church experience. It was a $240 times three loss which I will definitely not want to revisit ever. And there goes another myth, shot to pieces.

    Fantastic Performance

A beautiful simple acoustic show with the unbelievably talented LeAnn Rimes. Love was pouring out between her and the audience. Great accompanist. Humor and good vibes abounded. Well crafted and technically well executed.

    The golden voice

by ChiChris on 10/23/23Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - Skokie

Have a great time at the show. Leann was very comfortable on stage and engaged throughout the show with the audience sharing stories about her career. Her voice is still one of the best in the industry. She was only accompanied by her guitarist and a piano which highlighted her voice on her songs.

    LeAnn Rimes

by Bee Gee on 10/23/23Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - Skokie

LeAnn was spectacular. Why have I not seen her til now? There was not one thing missing. LeAnn plus her guitar player/backup singer went through a collection of her finest songs. Her voice is tops. I've seen nearly every great female vocalist. LeAnn was the best. Plus, she was cute as can be, laughing, telling stories, talking with the audience and dancing in her bare feet to the music. If she comes back, you can be sure that I'll be there.

Very good show, outstanding voice, wish we could have heard a few more songs from this talented singer. Wanted to see her since her "Blue" came out in the early 90's. Glad I was finally able to catch her in concert.

The whole concert experience was great!

by GG on 6/27/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

First of all, the Grand Sierra Resort is a perfect venue. The parking is close to the theater, the theater space is comfortable and the sound is good. LeAnn Rimes made the show so comfortable and personal. It was as if she was speaking to each of individually. And yes, she has an amazing voice and is a great entertainer.

    Leann Rimes

by Reen on 6/27/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

Ms. Rimes has a lovely voice. Her performance was okay. We didn’t recognize some of the songs she sang. The perfidy was short, only 1.5 hours. We were disappointed.
