Claypool Lennon Delirium
I recently found Sean Lennons collaboration with Les Claypool the Lennon Claypool Delirium and I am impressed. This band has focused on 70s prog sound with a modern twist. Everyone in the band is a virtuoso. I also caught a live performance of Les Claypools Flying Frog Brigade with Sean Lennon on lead guitar. They played a variety of Les ' music during the 1st set. The second set was a playing if Pink Floyd's album Animals in its entirety. They nailed it. Sean is a talented musician who I look forward to hearing everything he is involved with. His influences range from the beatles to Elliott Smith.

Amazing
Various - New York City
You gotta hand it to Sean Lennon. Saddled with a famous name, he's hung back and flown under the radar for years, patiently honing his skills and musical abilities. The hard work has paid off! This guy is a beast. Brilliant and wonderfully versatile, he plays multiple instruments in several bands (Ghost of a Saber Toothed Tiger, Plastic Ono Band, Mystical Weapons, he even sits in with guys like Wilco when they roll through town). In all, the man is a rock. He never fails to deliver. And he is a joy to watch. Catch him if you can for a glimpse of a wonderfully talented musician absolutely peaking. He's a gem. Highly recommended.
