This was a really good show. With folks rocking out to Chubb Rock, CL smooth &Mr. Cheeks brought back the old school great memories... The sound quality was good. Method Man asked for his music to be turned up which was a little too loud for his Mike. Although it would have been great to see him with Redman and his set seemed too short. He definitely held his own! Wu-Tang forever

  • Brought the 90’s energy

Loved the show, great vibe overall. We had a table which was awesome and it was covered. It was great music. The sound system may need to be tweaked at this venue, but overall good show.

Awesome show I’m wishing now that I took advantage of the table seating. I’m hoping that he tours here to the Mable House Barnes Amphitheater in the future.

  • Fire!!! NY Party

The event, the entertainers were absolutely GREAT!!!! Of course Method Man was great. I loved everything about this event. The one and only down fall was the people smoking at a non-smoking venue and the staff didn't do anything. I'm not a smoker so the smell and smoke definitely bothered me.

  • Good show

by Queue on 4/28/25MVP Arena - AlbanyRating: 5 out of 5

The show was really good. Method did his thing. He interacted with the crowd , him and Redman. It was just a long show with all the artists. Each intermission was too long per entertainer.

  • Amazing Show

by Casey on 4/25/25MVP Arena - AlbanyRating: 5 out of 5

As a fan of Wu Tang, Method Man and Redman for years, I loved the show! The other artist did an excellent job as well and have expanded my music interests. Raekwon and Ghost were amazing as well.

  • Very Low Budget Concert

by Tanna on 4/24/25MVP Arena - AlbanyRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was unfortunately very disappointing. I have been looking forward to seeing Redman and Method Man for years. The DJ had more performing time than the actual performers. When the performers came on they didn’t perform an entire song. They would perform bits and pieces of songs. The only lights used were the two spots lights and a few lights on the stage. The screen on stage looked like a PowerPoint presentation that would need to be restarted during each performer. Whoever was running the screen typed the performers name over the video without even capitalizing or centering the names. The same videos were used for all artists. The person running the screen got fancy with different fonts and fading effects when Redman and Methodman came out. Towards the end of the concert, an error message came up on the screen. The person running the sound wasn’t paying attention. The performers had to yell out to the sound engineer to fix the mics more than once. There was not merchandise to purchase. We bought tickets in the stadium seating for $95 a person and I feel like the tickets were very overpriced. This is the first concert I’ve seen at MVP arena since Covid and I don’t think I will choose to go there for any future concerts.

  • Very Disappointed

by Method man fan on 4/23/25MVP Arena - AlbanyRating: 2 out of 5

Show started at 6pm, yet main act didn't come onstage until after 10pm. Remy Ma did all of 2 songs & then started covering other groups?? Most of the show was random DJ's who would play less than 20 seconds of a song and then stop to let audience sing on their own. This might have been fun if the arena was full but it was empty save for the main floor. Method man & Redman came out by themselves, no hype men, no dancers. Almost just going thru the motions. I have seen better acts for free (looking at you KRS One) at Alive at Five than what I paid $100.00 for to see Sunday night.
