    Amazing Band!!

by Jay on 9/16/19Blue Ocean Music Hall - Salisbury

This was my 2nd time seeing The Verve Pipe live. They put on a must see show playing almost an entire set of their own music with a couple of cover songs thrown in. The band was having fun and has great chemistry and energy on stage. They are all very skilled musicians. Brian (lead singer) is very engaging with the audience. I would highly recommend going to see them live!!

    Rock Show!

by waxout on 2/18/1820 Monroe Live - Grand Rapids

I really enjoyed this show they came out of the gate with Cup of Tea and kept it going. They did a really nice job weaving in new material with the songs everyone wanted to hear. I seen them many times, and I always think I'm not a real big fan... But then at the show I'm amazed at how many of their song I know a really like. I also enjoyed the new material. Brians voice is still amazing and the band is great!

    The Verve Pipe was amazing!

by TheRealEd on 2/15/1720 Monroe Live - Grand Rapids

The band never disappoints. This particular show was special because of the anniversary of Villains, and the new venue. There was so much energy going back and forth between the band and the crowd. I don't think there was one person that wanted this show to end. I can't wait to see The Verve Pipe play 20 Monroe Live again!

    Verve Pipe homecoming show

by Muzak on 2/14/1720 Monroe Live - Grand Rapids

The highly anticipated return of The Verve Pipe to Grand Rapids in a large venue setting did not disappoint. From the first chords played from the first song off their highly successful album "Villians" to the last song of the evening, this band was tight and spot on. The band fed off of the energy that the crowd was giving and it was a win for everyone in the building that night. Bottom line it was a phenomenal experience in a great concert venue, 20 Monroe Bob!

Ummm, What decade is this ???

by Anonymous on 2/13/1720 Monroe Live - Grand Rapids

Is it just me or did The Verve Pipe sound BETTER than they did 20 yrs ago ?? Not sure how that's possible, but I'm predicting an epic comeback if they go on tour with new material and sound as good as they did in Grand Rapids. Always entertaining and never offensive. They did the hometown proud !!!!

    Worse Ever

by Anonymous on 3/19/12Gilda's Laughfest - Grand Rapids

Nothing was said or written to let you know that this was a kids show. We left after a couple of songs and left after others who were duped out of their $34. I never complain about anything but this is an exception and a horrible birthday present for my daughter, Sad

    Great Show

by Neandertrog on 3/19/12Gilda's Laughfest - Grand Rapids

They were great. Yes, the kids loved it, but I also enjoyed it. They didn't do any of their non-children's songs, but they threw in a Beatles song and a Monkees song (in addition to "Ice Cream Man")

    Water4ThePoolHistory

by OldShitShannon on 12/11/10Rick's - East Lansing

I was at Michigan State back in the 90's. Brain Stout was the lead vocals for Water 4 The Pool (loved the live performances at Rick's), but Donny Brown accounted for much of the brains behind the band. An amazing human being and fabulous song writer, and strong back up vocals - without Donny, the band would not have rocked. Love his voice --pushes it out there and makes you feel like he means it. Oh, and he knows what's going on on the drums.

    Amazing Kids Concert

by Skipper99 on 11/1/10The Ark - Ann Arbor

First time taking kids to a concert. They are 6 and 8 years old. The boy doesn't like loud noises or big crowds. I was actually nervous how it would go. He was reluctant all week long leading up. Well, one song in and both kids were smiling and clapping. Playing the cd beforehand many times helped, as the kids new some of the lyrics. The band was amazing. The volume was perfect for kids. All the band members were enthusiastic and smiling and seemed happy to be playing for the kids. The cereal song with the guitar (don't want to blow the surprise) was great. Don't know who laughed more - me or the kids. Also, they had the kids up on the stage for one song and had to back up to give the kids more room. I don't think so many were expected! There were several more kid friendly surprises as well. You'll see for yourself! The cool thing was, this was a show the adults could really enjoy as well. It was still a rock show! We will be back next time for sure, and will bring friends with us. That's the highest praise I can give. Thanks Verve Pipe, you were great. I think you opened up a whole new musical door for our kids.

    A great flash back

by chaaadroc on 11/1/10The Ark - Ann Arbor

I went through high school listening to The Verve Pipe as did the people I brought to the show. The Ark is one of my favorite venues and The Verve Pipe played a great set there. I have one small issue with The Ark however... They took my ticket stub. I have kept all of my tickets to all the concerts I go to, which is round 10 per year. This was not too thrilling to me. But the show and performance was great.

    Verve Pipe was awesome!

by clb01 on 11/1/10The Ark - Ann Arbor

We went to see the Verve Pipe an iconic Michigan band that we haven't heard from in awhile and they put on a killer show. The Ark is a really small venue so you get a real intimate feeling from watching a show there. The entire band sounded great and they didn't just put on a show but interacted with the audience well too.

by Irishconcert on 6/6/10Headliners - Toledo

They only played one set but they rock. For $5 this was totally worth it.
