About

Sherly Crow in Concert

Ever since her first album, "Tuesday Night Music Club," was released in 1993, Sheryl Crow’s classic roots rock has been an international success. This superstar has performed with musical greats, like Michael Jackson, Sting, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder and Don Henley, in the past, and she has won nine Grammys, including Best New Artist, Best Female Rock Vocal and Record of the Year. “All I Wanna Do,” “Leaving Las Vegas,” “My Favorite Mistake” and “Picture,” her collaboration with Kid Rock, are some of her best known tunes. If you can score a ticket to a Sheryl Crow concert, you’ll be rewarded with both her newer tunes and old classics. Known for her unbelievable vocal range and insightful songwriting, she has a tendency to put some R&B flair into her songs when she performs live. Being a seasoned professional, she knows how to pick her backup musicians too, and the instrumentation helps ignite her music. Her personality shines through onstage, even more so than on her records. In September 2013, Crow released a new album, "Feels Like Home," which became her ninth album to hit the Top 10 charts.
Sheryl Crow was born to musical parents in Missouri and got her start writing songs and studying music at the University of Missouri. She went on tour with Michael Jackson as a backup singer on his Bad tour, then performed solo for awhile before she recorded "Tuesday Night Music Club" with a group of industry pros who helped her cultivate the bluesy rock sound she is known for. The album was a mega success, and her eponymous follow-up, which had the singles “If It Makes You Happy” and “Everyday Is A Winding Road,” went triple platinum a few years later. A seasoned musician and a warm and sultry performer, this is one artist who has earned her keep on the musical stage.

    A Must See

by Gloria on 7/22/22Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park - Atlanta

Sheryl puts out an energy that you truly connect with and you experience the music TOGETHER. Band is super tight and the groove lasts for days after the show is over. I also saw her in St Augustine and she consistently delivers the goods!

    Sheryl Rocked ATL!

by Tommyboy on 7/22/22Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park - Atlanta

A warm and humid evening at Atlanta's Chastain Park Amphitheater did not deter the very enthusiastic crowd from seeing Sheryl Crow. We missed the opening act, but Keb Mo hit the stage with the second set of Memphis rock and blues that was fun, upbeat and a perfect set up for Sheryl. She hit the stage with "If It Makes You Happy" and the crowd responded by belting out the chorus at the top of their lungs in appreciation! From there, she rolled out hit after hit, fan favorites, ballads and a fantastic rendition of the Rolling Stones' "Live With Me" and played "Cross Creek Road" from her album, Threads. She told a few funny and entertaining stories and expressed her thanks and gratitude to be out playing live music again. She closed out the evening with an encore of "Real Gone," which I need to listen to more as it's a great song and she brought out the three singers from the opening act to join in closing out with "I Believe." Go see her if she comes to your town!!!

Great show all around and worth sitting in the rain!

by Johnny on 7/22/22Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park - Atlanta

I really enjoyed the music of Southern Avenue and was shocked that they got hardly a mention at all. Kudos to Keb Mo and Cheryl Crow for recognizing them. And especially to Sheryl Crow for having them on stage to sing. Keb Mo was awesome as well. And Sheryl Crow has still got a heck of a voice and was complemented by excellent musicians all around. What a fabulous performance. It sent chills down my back. So glad that I went. Chastain should post less advertising and more text and graphics about the performers who are on stage. At least get their names up there!

    Wow what a show

by Philosopher of music on 7/20/22

Not trying to be a a "guy" but I had low expectations. Unbelievable show in Atlanta. Not only was Sheryl engaged with the audience using her positive personality, she and the band rocked it! Thought I was in for a singer songwriter night with my better half... Walked away a big fan... Highly recommend attending a show!!!!

    Thompsons Point venue very disappointing

by Dena on 7/18/22Thompson's Point - Portland

The performances were spectacular - above and beyond. Sheryl Crow rocked the house as she does and Keb Mo and band got everyone groovin. Can't say enough about the performers, they did not disappoint. Unfortunately the venue and misinformation was a HUGE disappointment. The information posted on the website is NOT ACCURATE. For future concert-goers, if you do not get the exclusive and very limited $20 parking pass to the event, IGNORE everything else on the website for Thompson's Point and try your best to find parking along side streets near the venue. They DO NOT ALLOW PARKING at the Amtrak station as indicated on the website. There are staff blocking the entrances to the parking areas and the traffic is ridiculous trying to get in and out of that area - if you get blocked in, as we did, with poor traffic directing by one safety offices, you will end up in a line you can't get out of with an approximate wait time over an hour. Also, they only allow a LIMITED number of chairs in the venue - most of us had to return our chairs to our vehicles once we got through the long lines and approached the ticket entrance. Yet another delay which caused us to miss the opening act. We spent over 2 hours just trying to get into the venue, if accurate information was posted this all could have been eliminated and we would have planned accordingly. This was my first experience at Thompson's Point and unfortunately, very frustrating. Also, the food truck lines were ridiculously long so my advice, eat before your arrival. The waterfront view is beautiful but management of the venue is severely lacking... there were several people wondering around in confusion, cars turning around in traffic and people returning chairs and coolers to vehicles after being denied. I wish I could give a 5-star overall rating because the performers deserve that - the venue is the problem, rather the management or lack thereof of the venue is the problem. I doubt I will return

    Engineering compromised

by Bebop on 7/17/22Thompson's Point - Portland

Let me say that the crew at Thompson's point were great. Great hospitality, attitude, and overall down-to-earth. Kebmo came on stage and wowed everyone with his great band and his great sound. The snare had that great snap. You could hear the separation of the band while hearing it as a whole. When Sheryl Crow came on however, You could tell that the sound man was just putting out fires. First her voice sounded muffled for some reason. Later , the sound sounded quite sharp as a whole, and by the end of the show, it was way overloud into distortion. Sheryl Crow and her band were sensational. Its too bad that the engineer was the weak link.
