The Avaya Stadium was a great facility, and this event was well organized. No one knows how to have fun like Rugby fans and the weekend did not disappoint. The organizers had music talent and collegiate Rugby during breaks which added to the event. Nice venue, we recommend the event to anyone who appreciates watching international Rugby and even those who (think they) don't! Everyone attending this one appeared to be having a great time.

The venue is great! Not a bad seat in the house. It's a very intimate stadium setup because the seats are much closer to the field than in most stadiums. The only drawback was the downtime in the middle of the day Saturday when we had to watch college teams play while the pros took a break to prepare for the evening matches. But the TCL bar and the live music made that downtime more bearable - most people collected there to get a drink and/or dance.

Well organized event, fan security-wise and timing of the games The only confusing process was how to get out of the facility to bag booth to access for example, meds, etc. Otherwise, the atmosphere setup was electrifying!

Avaya stadium is an awesome venue for a rugby tournament, however, there were a lot of issues with the event. Nowhere on the event page showed the rules of entry. I emailed asking if there were food/drink/backpack restrictions for entry and no one got back to me prior to the event. We had our backpack turned away at the gate even though huge totes were let in and the event was 2 ten hour days. Additionally, the concessions and vendor trucks ran out of food and drinks in the middle of the event. Hot chocolate, coffee, carnitas nachos all ran out at some point, and the event was not even half the capacity of the stadium. I did appreciate the cleanliness of the stadium and restrooms.

I had a great time enjoying this even this weekend. The matches were a lot of fun. My only complaint and the reason I only gave 4 stars is that this was two days of roughly 10 hours with no in/out privileges. I mean seriously you can't figure out how to do a wristband or something. Being trapped and forced to drink RC cola and limited food options is not a nice thing. We ended up showing up late on Sunday to make the day more manageable which was unfortunate as I would have liked to see the earlier matches, but without the ability to leave and have a relaxing lunch for a bit and come back this wasn't something I could do.

What a wonderful experience highly recommended to even non-rugby fans this is action-packed excitement at its best highly recommend it !!!!!!!

Exciting games. Excellent people watching. Hope even more fans will come out for the next Rugby Sevens at Avaya stadium with its huge bar, nice craft beer selection, great views of the field and the hills outside, and clean modern facilities. To make this event even better they need to add more food trucks or allow in-and-out privileges. Don't add the break on Sunday evening before the finals, when a lot of people left. And add city bus service from downtown like they have for the Earthquakes games.

Venue was the best and whole setup was great with entertainment. Loved it, better setup than HSBC Sevens in Vegas.

A mix of different international teams and several collegiate teams. Fans supported their teams with flags and chants. Maybe a bit hard for a new person in the sport to follow but there were people around nearby in the area where I was sitting that knew the game well. So a new person to the sport can ask around to explain some of the things in the sport. There were other teams/club fans watching as well. I saw people with Russia, South America, as well as Saracens Fans, etc. watching. They may need more bartenders for future events. Would recommend for people interested to veterans of the sport.

The format was cool although I could have done without the College Tournament. Not a knock on the event but on Avaya Stadium policy on No Umbrellas was really stupid.
