About

True love where you least imagine.

A musical comedy gem featuring songs by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick (Fiddler on the Roof) and book by Joe Masteroff (Cabaret). She Loves Me is set in a 1930’s European parfumerie, where shop clerks Amalia and Georg, more often than not, don’t see eye to eye. After both respond to a “lonely hearts advertisement” in the newspaper, they now live for the love letters they exchange, but little do they know the anonymous pen pals they have both been falling for happen to be each other!

Directed and Choreographed by Artistic Director Aaron Thielen.

I was impressed with the cast's excellent voices. The production was well staged. The plot, though familiar, was still entertaining.

by bbmpd on 5/30/17Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire - Lincolnshire

We enjoyed the afternoon at the play. I wish the restaurants would've been opened. We had planned for a dinner and play date.. ended up at another restaurant which was not as good.

    She Loves Me

Always a great performance at Marriott. I am not a fan of in-the-round theatre but this production was fun and a joy to watch. All performances were excellent esp Allison Sill who was in the lead. Wonderful Amalia.

This is what musical theater should be. Great acting, music, songs, sets and, of course, costumes.

    She Loves Me

by PaulWeston66 on 5/6/17Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire - Lincolnshire

Great Show, from the original in 1963 broadway show. There are movies "Shop around the corner" and "You've Got Mail" but this musical version is an old fashioned show but a delight. Great songs, sweet story, and excellent singers. There is a Great Performances - 1978 TV version on You tube,. Marriott cast did a great job with this show. May see it a second time. Thanks for this Great production.

    Bad Script

by mandylovesjonasbrothers on 4/30/17Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire - Lincolnshire

I thought that the actors/singers were great, however, they couldn't save this musical. Their voices were beautiful, ALL of them really, but the script was so boring, and so predictable. I know this was an old musical, but I brought my parents, but they didn't like it either. (I'm 51 years old, so don't be fooled by my nickname which was my daughters when she was 12) I'm sorry to give a bad review, but I wanted to be honest. I would've given a 1 start rating if it weren't for the singing which I thought was great.
