Jersey Boys (Chicago) Tickets

These guys are one my favs. I have seen this play 4 times in New York, London and Chicago. Bravo to this cast!

The music and the actors are phenomenal. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves

The book, and the music are awesome. The actors were phenomenal. I truly enjoyed the show. But the production was bare bones. Members of the ensemble played multiple roles as well as serving as stage hands moving the (minimalist) sets. Similarly there were few musicians. No horn section This seemed more like a great community theatre production and less like Broadway in Chicago

I loved the simplicity of the show...lot's of music, very little dialog and drama. Perfect cast, great seats, great venue.

When did Jersey Boys begin? I know it has been years ago but we never seemed to be available when it was playing somewhere close. We finally made it to Chicago last Saturday. The play was TERRIFIC. We had front row third balcony seats and were able to see every movement. Energy, singing, dance and a creative minimalist set.

This was my 4th time seeing Jersey Boys and I have to say the lead singer was spot on in doing Frankie Valli. I found the stage set up needed improvement and let me explain. It was far to bland, it needed enhancement to make the audience feel like it was from the sixties. The one part the I was truly disappointed in was when the lead sang "Can't take my eyes off of you", this is Frankie's biggest song and it came off dull. Not because of the singer but from the way it was presented on stage. There should have been spotlights on him from front and back, the horn section should have been directly behind him not on top of platform, it should have brought the crowd to it's feet. But the way it was directed was not the way this song was intended to be projected. Out of the 4 times I have seen this show this was the worst from a theater production. Again the performers were great but the stage experience was not done up to standards.

What a GREAT show. Loved the storyline and all of the music. Just a fun filled Feel good show.

I enjoyed every moment of the Jersey Boys. The singing of all the songs was GREAT!

I saw the Jersey Boys 10 years ago and it was a good show. 10 years forward and seeing the show ago was FANTASTIC. I took my whole family and it was a wonderful experience. I didn’t think it could get better but the performances were great. We all enjoyed every minute of the show!!!!

Great show! Second time seeing it. Brought my husband the second time. He loved it!

Great music that makes you want to sing along, and very interesting learning about Frankie Valli and the Four Season of how they came to be.

First time seeing Jersey Boys and first time at the Auditorium Theatre, couldn't have been better! Our seats were great, and the performance was outstanding! Absolutely loved every minute of it! The actors and actresses that played their parts were cast perfectly. Thanks to everyone involved.

It was still pretty good, but not as good as it was years ago

Overall we enjoyed the show but I expected a little more for a Chicago production of Jersey Boy's, especially considering the beautiful Auditorium Theater was the venue. I was not a fan of the techy billboard set. Many of the images projected were distracting, seemingly unrelated to the scene and mostly unnecessary. The voices of the cast were extraordinary but the lack of a full orchestra made the show feel like a smaller town production.

Very good show— this is the 6th time I’ve seen the Jersey Boys play I’d rank this performance in the middle - a couple better- a couple not quite as good! Honesty can say never a bad performance!

The casting was great. They all did a great job. My wife and I really enjoyed it. I only wish they could have had a full orchestra, but I guess that's the trouble with a "road show" - they only have a limited budget.

We absolutely loved the show. Casting was perfect; each performer was spot on and so enjoyable to watch. We felt like we were watching the actual Jersey Boys. Great balance of humor, great music and the harsh realities of the music business. Well done!!

My sons and i had a great time, loved the show, the cast was great and music was memorable.

Everything was marvelous, from the performers right down to the specially-named drinks at the bar.
