Volleyball at its Best
Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom - Los Angeles
Super fun match! I loved having the pompons and the fan-cam giving 15 seconds of fame to spectators. Everyone was friendly & good-natured. The post-game team autographs were a great finish. Go Bruins!

volleyball is underrated
Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom - Los Angeles
My daughter plays and wanted to watch a mens game live. It was amazing and fast paced. I was surprised that there weren't more people there, but it was nice for us! great seats and a very nice facility! We will definitely be attending some games next season.

Bump, Set, Then Wait ... and Wait... and Wait...
Pauley Pavilion - Los Angeles
I attended the UCLA-BYU men's volleyball game - #2 vs #5 in the country. Top level volleyball and a classic, timeless facility - what can go wrong with that? Well, plenty, if the staffing is commensurate with a crowd of 200 but 4,000 show up instead. What let me down were the extremely long lines to get into the facility, made even worse by the longer lines for concessions. Surely the folks in charge anticipated a large crowd attending the game (I'm sure they can know how many tickets were sold prior to the event), yet despite that there was only one admission entrance and only one concession stand open, each of which had very long lines and left me with a bad impression of facility management. There simply should be no reason to miss almost an entire set of a 3-set match to buy snacks because only one food service stand was open in the building.

UCLA v. Stanford Mens Volleyball
Pauley Pavilion - Los Angeles
Pauley Pavilion is so new and clean. It was a great venue to see men's volleyball. They do have a clear bag policy so make sure you bring one or else you will have to check your purse/bag. Parking in Lot 8 is was very conveniently located.

Two 5-Set Matches - Exciting!
Pauley Pavilion - Los Angeles
This PAC-12/Big Ten Challenge was worth the 100-mile drive. Both matches went five sets and both ended with excitement. In the first match, #13 USC gave their all against a good #9 Penn State team, but just couldn't get the win. Most of us came in thinking the Men of Troy would be trounced by PSU, but were pleasantly surprised to see the Trojans fight to tie the match at 2-2 and battle to the end, losing the fifth set 17-15. Keep an eye on the USC team. In the second match, it was #2 vs #3 and the guys didn't disappoint. A see-saw match with the teams splitting the first four sets and going into "overtime" in the fifth set with UCLA coming out on top 16-14. Looking forward to seeing these two teams again in the NCAA championship. Pauley Pavilion is a beautiful arena with comfortable seats and very clean surroundings. Security is very friendly as is the arena staff, and the crowd was well-behaved and friendly. And parking was a breeze; no complaints about the parking fees...it all goes to a good cause. I would definitely attend more events at Pauley Pavilion!

Great Entertainment
Pauley Pavilion - Los Angeles
Really enjoyed the men's volleyball at the NEW Pauley Pavillon. The venue is attractive and fairly user friendly. The play was excellent (of course, it helped that UCLA was by far the better team). We'll also be attending the NCAA Men's Volleyball tournament here in early May and are looking forward to it.

Pauley Pavilion - Los Angeles
The Bruins put on a volleyball clinic and made the visiting Southern Cal team look like a JV high school team. The home crowd was awesome and the new Pauley Pavilion is spectacular.

About UCLA Bruins Men's Volleyball
One of the most dominant programs in college sports holds court at Pauley Pavilion, when the University of California–Los Angeles Bruins Men's Volleyball team takes the floor. The Bruins play at the Edwin W. Pauley Pavilion, which opened in 1965 and was renovated between 2011 and 2012. The Pauley Pavilion has hosted 14 NCAA Men's Volleyball Tournament finals, most recently in 2018, and will host them again in 2022. In addition to men's and women's basketball and volleyball as well as women's gymnastics, the Pauley Pavilion is famous for being the site of Mary Lou Retton's gold medal–winning performance in the 1984 Summer Olympics, and will again be an Olympic venue when it hosts judo and wrestling for the 2028 games.
UCLA Bruins Men's Volleyball have won a record 19 NCAA Men's Volleyball Tournament championships, as many titles as the next five teams combined, and came one win short of a 20th when it lost to Long Beach State at Pauley Pavilion in the 2018 tournament. The Bruins' 27 appearances in the tournament is also impressive, rivaled only by Penn State's 31 appearances.
The UCLA Bruins are members of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation, an organization for Olympic collegiate sports not currently offered by conferences otherwise affiliated with the NCAA. In addition to men's volleyball, the Bruins are represented by the MPSF in men's and women's indoor track and field and water polo. UCLA Men's Volleyball holds its own in a tough conference featuring some of the best programs in the sport. Five out of the seven teams in the MPSF were nationally ranked at the end of the 2018 season, including #2 BYU, #3 UCLA, #8 Pepperdine, #13 Concordia Irvine and #14 Grand Canyon, with UCLA earning an at-large bid in the seven-team NCAA Men's Volleyball tournament.
