This event was not only fun, but very affordable if you enjoy fast-paced hockey. Both clubs' parent NHL teams are very good, but Worcester basically owned Lowell the entire game. Lowell's only bright spot was their special teams play, but their constant mistakes in their own end doomed them earlty and often. They were horrible with the puck and took too many penalties giving Worcester many opportunities to score, which they did, en route to a 5-2 beating that really wasn't even that close.
The only bad part about the game was these 3 youngsters behind us. They had not visible parenting andd had the most foul mouths. I thought for a second that I was at a card game taking place at a truck stop, complete with f-bombs and the like. None of them were older than ten years old, for more fun. And if the parents of these three are reading this, we were sitting right behind the penalty box on the glass and these three were one row behind us in row 4. I tuned them out for the most part, but when the sound is 10 inches from your ear, it's a little difficult. But it was a very good time overall.
