    FABULOUS! !!!

by DJS7 on 10/31/17Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Alison Krauss is pure perfection...absolute perfection. I found myself tearing up several times at the way she interprets and performs her music. She is perfection....

    Best Concert Ever

    by KKL63 on 10/27/17Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

Alison was wonderful from start to finish played nonstop. Great playlist there wasn't one song we didn't like. The COX Family joined her in this concert and it was very entertining. We didn't stay for David Gray as the first three songs did not do anything for us. We would see Alison again though in a heart beat! Anytime anyplace. Alison has a beautiful voice and sings well with everyone from Robert plant to the Cox Family.

    Better Than Ever

by klmunroe on 10/23/17Greek Theatre - Los Angeles

I have seen Alison probably 15 times over the years and this was as good as or better than any of them. I try as hard as possible to see her whenever I can. And the upgrades/changes to the Greek Theatre have really made a difference for the better. And the parking situation has been improved....finally!

David Gray played way too long

    by Blackoystercatcher13 on 10/23/17Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - Berkeley

David Gray played for 1 hour 35 minutes and Alison Krauss played for 1 hour 5 minutes. I felt cheated. David Gray is OK but Alison was the headliner. Alison and her band had a hard stop at 10:00 PM and David Gray knew that. So why did he play on and on. And on. And on.

    Cut short. :(

    by KraussFan70 on 10/23/17Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - Berkeley

Alison Krauss was AMAZING. David Gray was good, but seemed to play longer than he should have. Alison had to shut her set short and had to perform encore song without a mic. It was really unfortunate. I give her huge props for giving it her best, but it was almost impossible to hear her without a mic is such a large venue. Next time, better time management so that Alison's performance does not get cut short! Thanks!!

    Alison was amazing!!

by gmedford on 10/23/17Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - Berkeley

Alison Krauss was amazing at the Greek Theatre. She sang non stop from the time she took the stage until the forced stop at 10pm. She had a perfect blend of her new music coupled with the old favorites. Her voice was impeccable with beautiful harmonies provided by her band. I wish it could have lasted longer.

Alison Krauss has the voice of an angel

by mctania on 10/23/17Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - Berkeley

I went to see Alison and was not familiar with David Gray. He opened to a misty, light rain. He has a nice voice and is very talented. Since there is a curfew at the Greek Theater, I would have preferred he had played a bit shorter set so that Alison could have played longer. She sang songs from many albums, including Raising Sand with Robert Plant. She was awesome, as always.

David Gray was NOT the Headliner?

by BadgerBoyCA on 10/22/17Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - Berkeley

Either I am stupid, or the concert promos were unclear, but we arrived fifteen minutes late after a two and half hour commute for a 60 mile trip, only to hear David Gray opening the evening! The main reason we came, and we hear what we presumed to be the headliner already on stage. Needless to say, that put quite a damper on the evening. My wife and I finally get a night away and we only hear 75% of the set that I paid a lot of money for. I wish the promos would have made it clear who opened. Bummer. David Gray is awesome, and the venue was a great place for him to perform.

Voice of an Angel brightens rain filled evening

by barbecueSteve on 10/22/17Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - Berkeley

Alison Krauss overpowered the rain and the mist in a brilliant performance Thursday at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. For an old music fan who has heard some great ones live(Joplin,Ronstadt, Anne Wilson, Emmy Lou)it was exhilarating to hear the timbre, the power, and the clarity of this voice which reaches notes so high they must be from heaven. Her wide variety of albums and genres made for a pleasant blend of the old and the new. Her backup band was spot on and the Cox Family made for great harmony. The only negative was the fact the concert was cut short by the 10 pm cutoff for amplified music. But Alison was a gamer and did her last song a'capella with no mikes from the front of the stage. I only wish it could have gone on longer. David Gray was an excellent opening act. He also has a great voice but has a ways to go to reach the pure brilliance of the star of the show, Alison Krauss. May the almighty allow this star to continue to perform for many more years. Hopefully, I will see her again.

    Awesome! Curfew not awesome...

    by DisappointedRN2459 on 10/22/17Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - Berkeley

I went to see Alison Krauss, but she played less time than her opener David Gray (who was excellent). The curfew should have been communicated to both bands. Totally lame for her to end her set by deleting 3-4 songs because she ran out of time? It seemed to be communicated to her 5 minutes before they turned off the microphones!
