Great game. Lots of fun! Great shows in between periods...
My son and I are big hockey fans. This was our first trip to the DCU Center, and we were disappointed. We had good seats, right above the glass, but the sight lines weren't very good. It wasn't helped any by the fact that kids are allowed to pretty much run all over the place, stand on seats, go in and out of the rows, etc. And, of course, once one kid starts, the rest want to do the same, becaue they're bored to tears to begin with. The usher did make one trip down his aisle to get kids to take seats after I said something between Periods 2 and 3. I enjoyed spending the time with my kid, but all in all, I can't say the venue added much to that.
The game was well played and exciting. My friends and I had great seats and could see all the action. This is very good family entertainment at reasonable prices. My biggest concern is the parking. Even though there is a parking garage near the DCU Center, it's not attached to the Center. Rather than walk over a mile by parking in the garage, we chose to find street parking. After circling the area for 20 minutes, we found a space. Worcester has to do something about this to make the DCU Center a better venue.
The game was excellent. We sat next to the glass and got all of the crushing impact we could want. Only downside was explaining to my son that fighting was not good behavior.
Had an excellent time, great seats, great anniversary celebration!
Great seats, great hockey..... Thumbs up! Go sharks
The seats were perfect to watch the game and at affordable prices. There were a lot of families with children at the game, which is good to see. Like all minor league sports, the between period promotions were a lot of fun to watch. The biggest issue is parking. There's no parking attached to the DCU Center. The official lot is a hike and it was cold and windy that night. It's a great venue and the parking situation hurts it's appeal.
The game it's self was extremely entertaining and made the whole experience. On the other hand, the arena was a little bit of a different story. The seats were not uncomfortable but they could definitely use an upgrade, especially for being the closest sections to the ice. Food wasn't bad but a little on the expensive side. It was about 16 dollars for two hotdogs, an order of fries and a soda (which only comes in one size). Some of the walls had wholes that were filled but not painted which was a slight eyesore. Overall the game was the main reason I attended and I would definitely go to another one. However, the arena itself could use a little bit of a facelift, which is why I only gave it four stars.
Phenomenal game, OT and a shoot out. Great seats, great energy.
It was a nice aggressive hockey game. Enjoyed the level of play!
We had a blast at the Worcester Sharks game! I bought these for my younger brother's 14th birthday present, and he was thrilled. The free bobble heads were a great touch as well! We ate dinner across the street at Uno's, which was extremely convenient. Parking was cheap and EASY!
My dad and I had s great time at the sharks game! It was fun and exciting!
wasnt able to attend bad winter storm. tickets couldnt be transferred. Very disappointed
very good game, would love to see more games. thank you
Enjoyed the game. Well played game. Fast pace. Nice to see hockey since the NHL is in a lock-out.
The perfect date night or family night out when you're looking for something a little different than dinner and a movie. Games are usually pretty entertaining, food is cheap, tickets are cheap, and the stadium is never sold out so you can spread out as you like. Even the really cheap bleachers seats are great with a perfectly good view.
I took my grandson for his first hockey game. He is six. He had a blast. Although he did drop his $20 mask and it fell under the players bench. WE could not reach it. But luckily, the Falcons had a stick that broke and the equipment manager happened to give him the stick so that I could reach it. This may needed to be addressed in the future. Thanks,
Very exciting hockey game. Up close. You could smell the action.
AHL Hockey out in Worcester is a great take for the kids. We got front-row tickets for about $30 apiece that are either unavailable or would cost hundreds more for the Bruins. The presentation of the game is really good, there are mascots, pee-wee games, and chuck-a-puck to keep the kids interested.
I took my 7 yr old to his first hockey game and was not dissappointed! He had a blast and so did I. The game and all of the events that happened in between made it a great time for the two of us.
