WICKED, the Broadway sensation, looks at what happened in the Land of Oz…but from a different angle. Long before Dorothy arrives, there is another young woman, born with emerald-green skin—smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships…until the world decides to call one "good," and the other one "wicked."
From the first electrifying note to the final breathtaking moment, WICKED—the untold true story of the Witches of Oz—transfixes audiences with its wildly inventive story that USA Today cheers is "a complete triumph! An original musical that will make you laugh, cry, and think."

Magical! This is my second time seeing it and I would see it over and over agian. The Nederlander theater is absolutely gorgeous as is Christmas in Chicago.
The show was amazing, such talent! Wonderful mixture of drama, comedy, emotion
Give more info on seating. What are views like? Which row does the balcony extend to? Things like that. I had to go to a different website to find that info.
One in our group had never seen it and was blown away. Wonderful. Plus, it was so quick and easy to enter and leave the theatre, very impressive. Thank you.
This is my 4th time seeing Wicked and it never gets old. One of the best shows ever.
We loved the show and thought this cast was truly amazing!
Excellent show. Cast was perfect, orchestra was flawless. Would highly recommend.
The chemistry on stage, the talent, the merch and bar offerings, even the temperature in the room. It was wonderful! One little harsh interaction with an usher was deflating: my daughter and son-in-law were out for the first time with a new sitter for their new baby (and it was his first musical ever), and an usher yelled at him in the middle of the scene, "Phone away!" I understand the no photography rule, but he was relaying info to the babysitter as discretely as he could. It felt harsh.
It was an incredible show. The theatre was beautiful. An all around great evening
One of the best shows I have ever seen. I have seen over 40 Broadway shows both in Chicago and NY. Only topped by The Great Comet NY and Hamilton. We are looking forward to buying tickets again next time! Life changing performance.
I loved the play. It was a nice twist on the story and an opportunity to explore a wizard of Oz part2 and 3. The actors were excellent. Both me and my wife had a great time
Funny, entertaining, family friendly. The show had great music and visual effects. The music is the best!; both catchy and easy to listen to
Enjoyed the staging and costuming as well as the performances themselves. Great show. Very enjoyable!
It was great! My 23-year-old niece laughed. cried and got angry all within a two hour performance. Thanks for the great show I guess I don’t need to explain your bathrooms-that’s not fun at all
The Theatre WOW! The Oriental/Nederlander was magnificent. One of my group had NEVER been to a live theatre event and she was 70 years old! She was amazed at the physical look of the theatre. Comfortable seats that were almost dead-center in the orchestra-center section, perfect for viewing (especially the scene where Elthseba raises to the ceiling) The Audience I should have cell-phone-recorded some of the better parts of the play. Everyone around us was. Your warning pre-performance is a waste if you are not going to enforce it. The bright displays of the cell phones were quite distracting. We were 'lucky' enough to have a father-mother-child behind us who constantly crinkled their water bottles and kick the seat backs of the 'newbie' theater goer. She was afraid to complain, not knowing theatre etiquette. I hear the bottles, but didn't hear about the kicking until dinner after the show. The Show Excellent! We may have had understudies (matinee) but the actors were really great in their roles. The effective use of fog, shadows and stage sets was powerfully effective and masterful. One of my group had seen the original performance in NYC (with Chenowith and Menzel) and he said it was just as good. He was impressed by the changes from the original staging, years ago. My only major was complaint was the volume of the audio speakers. While the spoken text during the show was clear an understandable, the songs, at times, were TOO loud to make out the words. (Luckily most of us had heard the songs previously, so our minds just plugged in the words we could not hear). Maybe it was the orchestra/singing combination which distorted the sung words. Overall A great performance at a great theatre! Thank you.
The Wicked performance was spectacular and the theatre was so beautiful! The cast are truly talented. I definitely would love to go again.
Amazing amazing amazing -this show has it all !! Great score , over the top costumes, beautiful set and amazing cast !!! I could watch it again and again, and again!
Wicked is one of the most amazing plays, Chicago can host. We love the music, and the performance. Simply magnificent!
Wicked is an entertaining, wonderful theater experience. The cast is talented, the songs they sing are ones that you'll continue singing long after you leave the show. And the story makes one thing again about how we judge other based on appearances as well as lessons about friendship. I would definitely recommend it.
