B-52's double-header
by Songpoet on 2/11/15Hartman Arena - Park CityWe've been fans of indoor soccer ever since the we first saw the Wichita Wings when they first formed in Wichita. We now live in Nebraska, but we drove to Wichita and got a motel in order to see the double-header weekend against two of the finest indoor soccer teams to ever take the field. We did not expect the B-52's to win either game, if you want the truth. We've watched the Milwaukee Wave for years, and they are simply awesome at one-touch passing and playing angles off the boards. The Comets were (and still are) the only undefeated team in the MASL, and they demonstrated why that's the case. The B-52's are still suffering growing pains as any young team does. I do believe there are some talented and skilled players on the team. They only need time for Kim Roentved to mold them into a cohesive unit, a true team, rather than a group of individuals, as he did when he coached the Kansas City Comets. Given time, we believe that Kim Roentved's leadership will direct the B-52's to become a force to be reckoned with in the MASL!
