The first half was a bit slow. Enjoyed the second half much more, wish it was longer. Unsure why the company danced to the same song twice with so many other Sinatra songs.

by Dissastisfied on 10/12/16Centennial Hall - TucsonAlthough the althletetisism of the dancers was amazing, the dances themselves were odd, disjunct and not very interesting to me. The show itself was short in duration
Rating: 2 out of 5 Doing the Time Warp
by KenWeene on 10/12/16Centennial Hall - TucsonWhile the dancers in this troupe were individually decent enough, the choreography was dated and wanting. I felt like I had been transported back to the seventies. This performance lacked excitement and oomph. It was like going to a road company performance of a play, fine if you're never been to Broadway but lacking once you've been there. Maybe it's time for Ms. Tharp to retire.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Twyla Tharp was truly amazing!!
by Janise174 on 10/27/15Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts - New OrleansTwyla Tharp never disappoints. Her choreography is utterly unique and mesmerizing. The first half of the program was contemporary with the beauty of classical ballet. The second half had a story line with over-the-top costumes and a quality of dance/gymnastic moves that cannot be matched. This was an experience that I will never forget and will never be matched. Thank you, Twyla, for your brilliant choreography and genius to be able to make your audience part of your miracle.
