The Weakerthans Tickets

The Weakerthans 4& more NYC- was an incredible journey-I could only get tickets for fallow and Reunion tour for myself- but I was able to get the four day event pass for my 24 year old son. The performances were perfection! When a band sounds as good live, if not better than the albums, you can't ask for much more- But the joy and passion that the weakerthans put into their performance is incredible- I would do this every day if i could- Also the bands that they brought with them were fun and talented- I was able to enjoy Said the Whale and Jenn Grant on the nights I attended, my son said the other bands Dinosaur Bones and Rah Rah-were both enjoyable as well Also hats off to the sound crew- they mentioned that they( or he) has been with them 15 years- you could tell- everything sounded great i felt enveloped by the music but could hear every lyric and every chord-and my ears did not feel like bleeding the next day- which so often happens after some of the shows I attend

The Weakerthans have been one of my favorite bands for several years, but I've only gotten to see them twice before. I went to two of the four NY shows (Reconstruction Site, Reunion Tour) and both were amazing. They played almost all of the hits that you'd want them to play (if they didn't happen to be on the featured records) and the band was engaged with the crowd. Also, the crowd was really friendly, very into the songs and sung along with the entire evening. Both nights had great openers. Glad I went as they mentioned that it would be a very long time before The Weakerthans would be playing again.
