The Elected Tickets

The Elected are one of my personal greatest bands. I have listened to their songs more than anyother band according to the song counter on my iPod. I found out about them after discovering Rilo Kiley, which is the second most listened-to band on my iPod. I was so relieved when they came out with another album and didn't stop after the first two. THANK YOU BLAKE AND MIKE (THE CAVEMAN)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they had DAVID DONDERO as an opening act (and he actually played what I requested)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To have 3 opening bands for a particularly obscure, unknown band is a bit crazy. On top of that the main band, The Elected, were to go on at 10pm. People gotta work, ya know. Then upon arrival the chalk board says "10:30", but they go on at 10:45. They played for an hour and then done. Overall, the singing and playing were great, it was pretty hot in that place but I managed to have a good time. I liked the singing a lot, wish the albums had more of that raw feel. Great performance by the whole band.

The Elected are amazing! I loved getting to see Blake Sennett take the lead, and rock out. He is a fantastic front man, and I can't wait to see him again, when the Elected comes back to the NYC area.
