In light of the Carole King resurgence of popularity, we were truly looking forward to a good show. While the musicians were very good, the overall production value was mediocre - intro slide show had potential but fell flat and could have continued with more visuals while they played; blinding lights shone intermittently onto audience unnecessarily as if the band needed to see us out there;, sound sometimes too loud where we couldn’t hear the lyrics correctly. On a positive note, the lead singer engaged the audience, encouraging all to sing and clap along.
A touching moment was You’ve Got A Friend, with the audience ( as if all friends) swaying along in unison.
