I also Loved t when they played Mucka Blucka, so Cool. (I was brutally Attaked by Tally Hall *Thumbs Up*)
They did what they always do, which is not disappointing. I enjoyed thoroughly, especially the bit when Mr. Hawley took off his shirt and jumped on a second grade field trip during their cover of Miracle Musical's 'Dream Sweet in Sea Major', whereas he screamed "THE STARS WERE MADE FOR FALLING".
I love Tally Hall. I wish they were touring more this year. They never disappoint.
Everything about this concert was happy-making and wonderful. The opening acts, Casey Shea and April Smith And The Great Picture Show, were great and so friendly after the show. Tally Hall themselves had a ton of energy and a great attitude. They are as amazing as expected. Even the fans were fantastic. Everyone I talked to was friendly and interesting and funny. There was a great sense of general happiness in the room, and I'm so glad to have attended.
Very fun show! Loved Tally Hall, April Smith, and Casey Shea!
The entire show was awesome. How awesome? Cherry Pie awesome. Cherry pie, fresh from the oven, with vanilla ice cream and walnuts awesome. Each of the bands that performed were different from the other, but still held the same consistency of talent and like ability. I was standing for a solid four hours, but for the first time in a while I forgot that my feet felt like they were being mauled by bears. Instead all I could focus on was the great music. The openers were crazily good, and I would definitely love to see them again in concert. But of course, the piece de resistance was Tally Hall. They blew my mind. First of all, their sound designer/operator is off the chain in equal cherry pie awesomeness (or maybe blueberry pie, even dutch apple!). I could hear everything, from the words of the songs to the instruments they were playing, with equal clarity. Then, all that I could hear was simply fantastic. Plus, they were just so charming to watch. The world needs more Tally Halls in this world. Thank you Bowery Ballroom, for the fantastic experience! (PS-Bowery Ballroom itself is baller as heck. You all should go see some awesome music there. It's gorgeous). You may need to bring an extra pair of socks.
Tally Hall at the Sonar was a great show. Nothing to disappoint. Sonar a nice venue. Security dudes could not have been cooler at doing their job. Big high five to the security guys.
This is the second time I've seen Tally Hall perform. Took my niece as she is a HUGE fan and once again, I was not disappointed. The music was great and so is the atmosphere that the band creates! They are super friendly and always seem happy to interact and meet with their fans. We LOVED the living room acoustic set they did....great surprise for the night :o) I will definately be taking my niece to see them the next time they are in Michigan. Wonderful show as always!!
I had a great time. The band was nice and it was small enough that I got to just walk up to Jukebox The Ghost and talk to them and get them to sign my shirt after they played. All of the bands were fun and interesting and sound great live. Tally Hall was pretty amazing live, although red tie Joe couldn't make the show.
