Nice day for baseball
by Ace on 5/29/24Cheney Stadium - TacomaThe game was entertaining. It was a full house and so was the parking. The parking would be my only peeve. But it was good time.

Thought we purchased Summit Club with benefits. Seems benefits are only for season ticket holders. Also, had obstructed view. Couldn't see left field. Couldn't see left field. No where on ticket did it say "obstructed view."Never buy buy section 107 seats 1-3 if you want to watch the game.
My daughters 11 and 14, and I, LOVED IT!!! First time and we are not Baseball fans BUT we had a lot of fun.
Great location, talented players, fun for all ages. Fabulous fireworks! Wonderful experience!! Much appreciated!
It was our first time there but we already have plans to return soon. It was a little confusing being our first time there but in no time we found our way. Bathrooms were easy to locate. Concession lines moved quickly. We really had a great time at the game. Best part is we Won. 🙌🏽
The game was really exciting and the team played really well! They won!
We had awesome time at game even with Rubarb the mascot stealing across the field. Ha ha made us laugh so hard. The baseball game was great with lots of hitting action. We sat in disability area which had wonderful view near 3rd base.
I was not able to attend the game due to insufficient parking. Tickets should not be sold unless you can guarantee a parking space.
I grew up in Tacoma. Never in all my years going to games from the time they were the Tacoma Twins did I ever have to worry about parking or just getting to and into the stadium with ease. On this occasion, we had a group of 8 people. We all arrived an hour before first pitch. Not only could we not get into any of the lots because they were full, we had to park at some other location far enough away that we had to then hire two ubers to pick us up before and after to get us to and from the stadium. An extra $60. When we we were dropped off we had to walk through the parking lot and there were a lot of empty stalls. Why would you close a lot and say they were full when they lot had plenty of parking still available. We ended up missing the first inning. Who the heck was running that operation? In addition I tried to go online a week prior and add another ticket. There was nothing available. Yet when inside the stadium 1/3 of the seats were empty. Terrible experience for a kid who grew up going to games, worked as a vendor and part time bat boy. They need to clean up their operations to make this a more fan friendly experience.
Cant beat a Rainier ballgame ever! Rain or Shine Cold or Hot, nothing beats a local Tacoma Rainiers baseball game especially @ Cheney Stadium!! Great views no matter your sweat! great company definitely never hurts either! Consuming ballpark fare like Nachos, Rainier Brats, Garlic Fries, ice cream and drinking a few Hefeweizens only adds to the Rainier Experience!
