The Freedom Party NYC Tickets

The music is good and the dance floor is huge.nice atmosphere.

I've been to multiple Freedom Parties and this by far was the worse one. I don't know what was going on with the DJ that night; however, I've seen him spin waaaaayyyyyyyy better mixes before! The crowd was also not that mixed age wise...so it made it a bit awkward...But regardless of age there wasn't that much dancing going on! Other than that there was plenty of room to sway and the air conditioning was GREAT!!

One of the best events we’ve attended in awhile! Definitely will come back!

It was great fun. No drama, no posing, just good music and lots of dancing!!!

Funkmaster Flex is an amazing DJ. His transitions and song selections were great. The live performance by EPMD was awesome and Keith Murry RIPPED the stage. But why were there so many random people on stage during the performances? It was a distraction for me.

I love Freedom parties, but the last two I've been to got disappointing when Funk Master Flex got on. Plain & simple he's wack! The regular DJ was much better! So I'll skip the ones with Funk Master Flex appearances!

If old school hip hop and R&B is your thing then the Freedom Party is the best party to attend.

Perfect until Funkmaster Flex came on. Two hrs of playing each song for 5 seconds. Went from everybody dancing to everybody just standing around listening.

I like Irving Plaza, which is why I gave the venue a good rating. However, the Freedom Dance Party (to which I've gone to several times in the past, at Irving Plaza and other venues) was not good this time. Well, if you want to fall asleep, it was good. The dance music was all slow and not upbeat. I thought I would be soaked with sweat from dancing as I've experienced on other occasions, but not this time. This time around, folks were just standing around on the dance floor, looking at their phones, looking at the DJs playing the music on stage (which is ridiculous - as they are not performers per se, they only play the jams). We left earlier than we normally would have, and went someplace else that played better music. I'm not sure I would go again if the music will put me to sleep.

Mr Cee would have been so much better and goes so hard! Flex legit played the same old school hits he plays on the radio in the same ORDER and scratched like hell too. Thought he was gonna really play for a live crowd but he did not. Left after an hr. Herber is so DOPE alone. He kills is ev time but flex left much to be desired. Will never go again with him just Herbet alone
