Non Stop Laughing

This play exceeded my expectations - I laughed - I cried - I was swept away into their world.
Superior Donuts succeeds in all respects. It is a thoughtful play with lots of light moments but also some weight. Arthur and Franco hit just the right notes and are supported by some superb ensemble work by the other actors. The staging rings authentic and also allows for good drama.
The story had good character development, I cared about each one of them. Lots of funny moments. Actors were excellent. My only complaint is I would have had the main character confront the bad guys in a different manner. Other than that I enjoyed the play very much.
Great job...a very true and sensitive approach to the age-old racist issue! (I'm not the one that's the probem!) Well done...kudos to the entire cast!
Staging and actors were very good. Some really funny and tender parts. A bit predictable but still enjoyable.
Superior Donuts was wonderful! Heart-warming, funny, intriguing and relatable. I loved it!
I had no clue what to expect from this play, from the beginning it engaged the audience and the story line was both funny and touching. I would recommend to everyone. Some language is in appropriate for children do definitely an adult performance. Highly recommend.
The story is wonderful, it's touching and funny. The actors are very talented and real, and just incredible to watch. It's intimate and real Chicago theater. Some violence and swearing, but still an enjoyable show for all, except small children.
